We had a very nice stay at B&B Mazzini Art. I can't say enough about how ingeniously designed the room was - it is a smallish room with a vaulted ceiling (seems to have been a warehouse of some sort originally?), and when renovated, a new room was built in for the bathroom as a box in the corner, complete with flat roof, but the opening up to the vault was left to preserve the shape and character of the room. The roof of the bathroom has a little "skylight" and, above that, an electric light - together, these serve to keep the bathroom and that back corner of the bedroom light and airy, making the entire space feel much larger than it actually is. It's a very cool space! Marina was very helpful - she gave us directions to park the car upon arrival, met us at the door along with her mother, and was very responsive to any questions we had after she'd left. The room was just as pictured, perfectly clean, and the beds were comfortable. The only trouble was with connectivity: probably because of the stone walls, we could not get cellular or data service in the room at all on our phones, and the wifi from the B&B doesn't stretch through the walls well, so we lost connection frequently. This aside, the room and hosts were lovely, and we were excited to explore Fondi, which is a fantastic town. Be sure to visit the Museo Civico and climb to the top of the castle for an amazing view!
Terrific guests! Marina and Nicolas were very nice, friendly, clean and tidy. We sure hope to see them again soon, be it in London or at their lovely B&B in Italy!
