It was a big accusation to have said that my friends were running away and we were caught lying. We booked a place with 2 bedrooms because obviously 4 of us were traveling. But my friend, who is also residing in Bangkok, decided to drop by and stayed with us for a few nights. Who would have thought its gonna be so much of a problem because the host's listing didn't include an extra charge if there were gonna be extra guests. It is not my first time dealing with airbnb and I do know that some hosts don't mind having extra people and for others who do, they would have made it clear and upright from the start. When she asked us to pay up we did it with a smile and she even apologized to us for causing confusion!
My review to her apartment was upon total honesty which I realized some of her other guests left similar remarks as well. Why get so upset and defensive then?
My conscience is clear and it is with great disappointment to have crossed paths with unreasonable people during our travel. It was just an one-off unpleasant experience and I do believe there are still mostly kind people out there.
