The house is in a beautiful area and itself is nice too. The distance is a little bit far from Kingakuzi bus stop.
A fantastic stay at an incredibly spacious house. Though it is a fair walk uphill, splitting a taxi between mates alleviates most of the strenuous walk.
Beautiful house. It's a bit of a trek to get there but once you do the house is wonderful.
It was a great pleasure for us to be able to stay at Ayaka's house. The house was comfortable and well equipped. My two kids enjoyed playing in a spacious living room, too. Prior to the arrival, Ayaka was really helpful of giving us directions and advices regarding a stay. According to her advice, we brought lots of warm clothes, so we didn't have any trouble in overcoming coldness. We would like to stay here again!
Ayaka is very nice, her house is beautiful. We have a great time being there.
Thank you Ayaka for provided us with a very nice home in Kyoto. Although the house is a bit far from the main bus terminal, (15 minutes) downhill walk from the house, but my little 4 years old kid didn't facing any problem about it. The house has very nice scenery and well equip. You will get what you see in the web. One advice is don't come at night on your arrival, because the surrounding is quite dark hard to find.
Six of us stayed for 7 nights in Ayaka's house. We loved the house and the location that is surrounded by nature. It's not near to city centre but the buses are very frequent to go places from the nearby university station. We walked to Kinkakuji, Ryoanji and Ninnaji( I think ) It was really beautiful.
There were many inexpensive restaurant to dine in, especially the 100 yen sushi restaurant. We always took a taxi back to the house at night after a long day out so the going up hill journey was never an issue. The morning down hill journey was really amazing with the autumn colours. Splendid indeed.
Ayaka is a fantastic host and very helpful indeed. She paid us a visit during her off day. She helped us with the taxi and some translation which we appreciate very much. We loved her cheese cake dearly.
This is really a home-away-from-home. We would love to stay in this house again in our future visit to Kyoto.
Ayana's home is lovely. We enjoyed being in a Japanese home and sleeping on the tatami mat. The location is a plus and a minus. It is pretty and peaceful and near the golden temple. But it is also a bit far from public transportation hubs.
Thank you everything about your help.
Your cake is very good !
Hope to see you again soon !
