I'm from Kalamazoo, MI and have been living in St. Louis for the past two years! I am an anesthesiology resident at Washington University-STL/BJC.

This was my first airbnb experience and I was not sure how it would turn out. I chose Govind's place because of the location and the positive comments other guests had left. Govind is an excellent host; I took the metro link from the airport and had quite a bit of luggage. He offered to pick me up from the metro station, drove around the downtown area as this is my first visit to St. Louis, pointed out good restaurants, things to do while I am there. An excellent start.
The loft apartments are beautiful! The apartment was clean and welcoming. The room is private with a private bathroom. The towels were in the dryer; but they came out soon enough. He is a quiet person and so am I. I was able to make my work related phone calls. Internet is reliable and has decent speed. Overall a very pleasant and comfortable stay. Will not hesitate to recommend!Ver
My first airbnb experience was a great experience, thanks to Govind - his kindness and welcoming personality! He sent emails before the trip with information about how to get to the apartment, suggestions for must-see things and restaurants in the area, which made it feel easy and safe to begin my trip from abroad. Even though he wasn´t at home when I arrived, the checkin went smoothly. The apartment was quiet and the bed very cozy, everything that I needed in order to be able to work during my stay. I would recommend this apartment to friends visiting St. Louis!
Govind was extremely personable and really made me feel welcome. It started with a phone call to ensure I knew how to get there and followed with an email listing places to eat, visit and how to get around.
The neighborhood is a little dicey at night. There's a rehab center and YMCA on the same block, but I never felt threatened and was never approached.
The room was what I expected for the price. Tons of space, nice layout, nothing extravagant. The bed was a futon and I wish there was more closet space, but I made it work. Also, no cable, but that wasn't an issue for me at all.
I didn't cook nor park a car there so I can't speak to that. Again, the selling factor for me was how personable Govind was and how he went out of his way repeatedly to make me feel welcome. Can't say enough about how great of a host he was.
Govind has been very welcoming, is appartment is nice, quiet and well located. I was at a conference and staying at Govind's place has been perfect for me.
Stayed at Govind's loft for three nights this past week (September 17 through 20) while attending a conference. The loft is very conveniently located in downtown St Louis, just a couple blocks north of the Peabody Opera House located on Market Street (the main east-west running thoroughfare) and a few blocks east of Union Station, which should prove convenient for those traveling into the city by train. Other than the nice building and good location, another aspect of these accommodations worth mentioning is the view from the rooftop deck, where you can see the nearby City Museum rooftop, as well as Busch Stadium and the Gateway Arch. Especially appreciated was Govind's hospitality. While I have visited St Louis in the past, it had been quite some time, and my visits were concentrated west of downtown near the university. Govind helped ease my mind with regard to some of the hearsay communicated by parking attendants in nearby lots, since I visited the city by car and needed to find parking that I initially found a bit more difficult to come across than in Chicago. Follow Govind's advice regarding parking, and you should fare well. Overall, a good stay and a pleasant first time Airbnb experience for me.
Renting from Govind a super easy and the neighborhood was fantastic! I did get lost initially because I'm a doofus, but once I arrived it was a really beautiful loft with plenty of room and a great view out over the business district in Saint Louis.
I loved the neighborhood. The unit was as depicted and Govind was super easy to communicate with and he was jazzed about helping me get into the community. The loft was quiet, and after a long day of new-city adventuring that's just what I needed.
My girlfriend and I came down to St. Louis for the holiday weekend, and Govind was a fantastic host. Even though he was out of town for our stay, he made checking in seamless and immediate with his clear directions. Though we already had a loose itinerary, he sent us a very comprehensive list of recommendations and tips when we booked initially. He also was very thoughtful in following up to ensure that we enjoyed our stay.
The place itself is very nice--lots of light, clean, and comfortable. The roof offers a great view. It's also situated close to a lot of restaurants, bars, and the great City Museum. I would definitely recommend a stay here.

My experience was nice. Govind worked most of the time that I was in St. Louis and I was out and about and hardly there as well but it was a nice place to rest. The loft was clean and quiet.
