This was an awesome place to stay. Felt like home. Will stay again :)
What a great place to stay in Edmonton! My partner and I stayed here for 6 nights and it was comfortable, cozy and welcoming. Having space in the fridge and access to the kitchen made our stay much more comfortable since we didn't have to eat out all the time!
We are both graduate students and were in town because I had an interview for a PhD position. We both had quite a bit of work to do and found the sunroom and house in general very peaceful.
Any issues we had were addressed promptly and remedied within minutes. I strongly recommend any guests read the welcome booklet carefully. There is a strong community of people in the house from handymen to massage therapists and the booklet gives you contact info for all of them!
Location is perfect. We walked almost everywhere, the university was only a 25 minute walk away! Awesome old movie theatre 15 mins away. Stellar places to eat are also super close on Whyte Ave.
Tomato the cat is a sweetheart, even if he sounds a little angsty. Just pick him up and he'll give you one of the best kitty hugs ever. He really eased my missing my own cat at home.
Thanks Jen and housemates! Will definitely stay here again.
I had a great stay here. A pretty neighbourhood with great access to city transit. I felt immediately at home in this creaky quirky house. Jen and everyone around were very helpful on my first visit to edmonton. Steam shower a welcome bonus!!!
cool atmosphere...nice house...big rooms...good area!!..
The Healing Arts Heritage House is a beautiful, warm and welcoming place. I highly recommend for anyone looking to relaxing stay while in Edmonton.
I really enjoyed staying in the house. The housemates were very friendly and helpful. Beautiful building and great location.
We were met by Sven who welcomed us, showed us to our room and then around the kitchen and lounge. He was very pleasant. The bathroom was down the hall. Healing Arts Heritage House provided a welcome print package outlining expectations of both host and visitor. The atmosphere was friendly casual. The room wasn't at the level of a hotel room, more like a college dorm, but the overall experience of staying at the Healing Arts Heritage House was positive.
This was a very cozy place to stay. There were plenty of blankets and a heater, so our room was more than toasty! While we didn't get to spend much time at the house, it was the perfect place for us to come back to while on our short trip. Also, getting to enjoy the steam shower was a nice treat!
I stayed at the Healing Arts Heritage House for one night while in Edmonton for an interview. The Ambiance Room where I slept was warm and comfortable. The rest of the house was charming, complete with wood architecture and with creaky stairs for a historic feel. There was a faint scent of incense which I personally liked. I wish I had had more time to explore more of the house. Although I did not use the steam shower, that option was available to guests. I did not have the opportunity to meet Jen during my short stay, but her housemates were friendly and quiet. The neighbourhood was calm, with plenty of places to eat within a couple of blocks.
Awesome friendly atmosphere I really enjoyed my stay will book agian.
