for a short stay, and because of it's central location the apartment is satisfactory. It is definitely best suited to a couple. My traveling companion & I shared the apartment for two nights, so used the couch as a second bed option. Because of the layout of the flat, this means not much privacy as the bathroom is directly off the bedroom as opposed to the lounge area. The photograph of the flat gives the impression that the rooms are bigger with more light, but this in fact is not the case. It is small and quite enclosed. The apartment had all of the amenities needed for a comfortable stay, but like I say, only if you were passing through Madrid.
The host canceled my reservation the day before arrival.
Francisco was responsive and prompt. The neighborhood central and safe, despite it being the 'red light district' of madrid; there were prostitutes right outside the building even at 9am when we would go out for breakfast. My only complaint is that though it is listed for four people, i would only recommend it for two. We were on a budget, and booking in the last minute, so we took it. this is a TINY TINY studio!!!!!
The flat is in a great location, just next to Santa Ana Plaza and a short walk from Sol. It is cozy, and the bathroom is off the bedroom - which was a little tricky for us as we had two couples staying. There are no external windows in the flat (well, one tiny one in the bedroom), so it can feel a little restricted, and a bit musty. Also, the kitchen is not fully equipped (no jug, limited cleaning products), but the stove top & fridge are handy. The hot water is also limited, so we had to be careful not to shower at the same time - which was a bit of a hassle. But, it is perfect for travelers who are keen to find a central place to stay - with the added benefits of a kitchen. It would be best suited for two. Fransisco was nice to deal with, prompt with his communication. Price was okay, good for Madrid which can get expensive. I guess the best thing is the location, and the fact that the building is very secure.
Unfortunately we had to cancel our trip as my friend was sick, but Francesco was very helpful and friendly.
We stayed three nights at Francisco's apartment which we found to be simple but comfortable and a good deal. The location is very central, right in the thick of things in Malasaña, walking distance to most of Madrid's major sights. Our communication with Francisco was straightforward and without any issues.
We had a fantastic stay in Francisco's apartment. It is in a perfect location, surrounded by bars and restuarants and cafes-right in between Malasana and Chueca districts. You can easily walk down to Gran Via for shopping and onto Puerta del Sol/Plaza Mayor.
The apartment had everything we needed-certainly plenty of space for 2. I guess the bathroom could get a bit crowded with more people than that! It is on the 3rd floor which was fine for us but could be a problem for some.
Overall we were really pleased, and it was certainly good value for money.
HE IS A BEAUTIFUL PERSON (IN THE INSIDE AND IN THE OUTSIDE)
RELIABLE, COMMITTED, FRIENDLY. ALTRUISTIC. HE IS THERE FOR YOU. HE IS MY FREIND AN HE IS THERE FOR ME.
