We had a wonderful time at Villa Porticello. The location was perfect and the accommodations were excellent. In the past, we've always stayed at a hotel when we were in San Diego with cramped conditions, but staying at Nina's was like being at home. Clint and Nina are great hosts and we thank them for helping us have a great stay in San Diego during a very busy time in the city.

Such a great place! Nice location and walkability to the sites in Little Italy and downtown. The planes overhead really weren't too bothersome at all. Nina and Clint were excellent hosts and easy to communicate with, and their apartment is well appointed. Don't miss the Farmer's Market on Saturday mornings!
The stay was GREAT perfect location, and surrounded by lots of things to do, all within walking distance. Nina and Clint were awesome host, and look forward to my next visit.
Thank you again for being a part of my most awesome San Diego visit.
Villa Porticello was the perfect place for our visit to San Diego. Wonderful neighborhood and fun farmers market in the area. The house was super clean, inviting and Nina was very accommodating. Can't wait to come back! Thanks Nina!!!
We had a lovely stay at Nina's place. There were three adults in my party and there was plenty of space for all of us. The description and pictures of this listing are right on. Located in Little Italy, Nina's place is very nicely located. A wide variety of excellent shops and restaurants are just a minutes away by foot. Between Nina's stylish decor and the excellent location, this is a listing well worth considering.
The place was great and location was convenient. I was in town for a conference at the convention center, and would stay here again in a heartbeat. While not within walking distance for most, the trolley is a just a short 10 minute walk (in a nice neighborhood) and stops right at the convention center. There are a good assortment of restaurants within walking distance, and communication with the host was prompt and helpful. The noise from the planes didn't impact my visit, since I wasn't there for most of the day. Even with the noise, still 100% worth the stay.
This is a delightful, roomy and comfortable place. The hosts were available if we needed ANYTHING! It's very close to great coffee shops, restaurants and shops. It is directly in the flight path, however ,that was NOT a problem for us. The bed is one of the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in. Well appointed and charming! We will stay there again.
Great place absolutely central to Little Italy...decorated nicely, well equipped kitchen which is great since I truly prefer to eat in whenever possible. Hosts were so accomodating that when I needed a hair dryer they brought me one...for which me and my hair were very grateful. You are in the flight path of the airport..but to be honest, my friend and I were able to tune it out and just enjoy eachother's company and had no issues sleeping etc... (hosts provide earplugs...which we didn't need). Loved it and would definitely stay again.
I had a great time. The location was perfect and the house was so well insulated that I could hardly hear the planes overhead. The dining room was large enough to host a few friends for dinner, which was nice. Parking got hard at some busy times, but we never had to walk more than a block or so.
nina and her buddies were super easy guests. had absolutely no issues and in fact, i was out of town and never even knew they were there!
