Yacatas is a wonderful, spacious house in a very central area in Mexico City, extremely handy for the subway and Metrobús. There is a large garden, two friendly cats, plenty of books and even a piano. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and indeed wanted to stay and live there! Hard to get away. Cata was a really warm and friendly host, and everything went pretty smoothly. Would definitely recommend.
We again had an awesome time at Cata's place. She is a wonderful host - easy to get in touch with, helpful and friendly. And Julia, the housekeeper, is delightful, efficient and a great cook! The apartment has everything we wanted in terms of location, decor and comfort. It feels like you're home! You will not regret spending time at Cata's apartment, whether for a week, a month, or longer.
Cata was, again, a wonderful host. We enjoyed her place so much we decided to stay a few months!
Cata's place is great! It's on a quiet street but close to bars, restaurants and the park. On the corner you can get fresh squeezed juice, tacos and tortas (giant sandwiches) from street vendors. And the apartment itself feels homey and warm.
Cata is a great host too. She made sure we knew where to get anything we wanted and how to get around. I highly recommend others to stay with Cata.

Waking up in this very well proportioned flat is delightful for many reasons: first this wonderful warm, bright and atmospheric light; second and third for the exceptional good bed and the quiet neighbourhood that gave you a deep sleep; fourth because of the nice but not overwhelmingly personal decoration that allows you to fill the space with your own thoughts; fifth in anticipation of exploring a new day in this splendid and joyful city; sixth and not least because you can get some tasty/hearty breakfast just around the corner. There is really nothing to complain. This area of Condesa is just around the corner of where part of the nightlife takes part, but is itself quiet and "authentic". Public transport is good and Chapultepec-Parc with Museums, trees, birds, great views is just a few blocks away. As is already true with Mexicans in general - in my experience - that they are the most amiable, helpful and relaxed people, Cata the host was extremely welcoming, uncomplicated and she helped a lot with tips and resources to make my and my friends stay in the Capital an exceptional experience.
They were friendly and for the first 2 days, quiet.
On the last day I came home to about 10 random people in my house having a bbq. They didn't give me any warning and they were just renting a private room, not the entire house. This put a burden on me and they should have rented an entire place or ok'd it with me if they wanted to do this. They were friendly, but this was annoying.
