Johanna welcomed us to Connellsville and provided a warm and comfortable place for us to stay. She provided coffee and breakfast each morning and was available to answer questions about the area. I loved the way she decorated her home and felt very at peace there. Johanna was easy to communicate with. We will definitely stay with her again when passing through Connellsville in the future!
Had a wonderful stay and a wonderful trip ! Johanna's place is in a great location for visits to Fallingwater as well as Polymath Park and Kentuck Knob. Johanna is a great host and I felt very comfortable staying there. The room was very accommodating and the neighborhood is great !
Johanna is a wonderful and inviting host that made my visit in PA even better. The bed was very comfortable and the home was beautiful! I wasn't able to stay long, but I know I'll be staying over again in the future when I visit. Thanks Johanna for letting us stay in your wonderful home. I loved your dogs!!!
Johanna was a superb host and she was on point with communication. I was traveling on the gap when my bike broke down (go figure) and when I told Johanna about it she immediatly offered to help me. She is very caring and I appreciate everything she has done for me. If you're looking to stop in Connellsville stay here and not some pricey bed and breakfast. Thanks again Johanna!!!
We had an extended stay at this lovely house in a quiet neighborhood. The rich wooden floors and original woodwork, the plush Oriental carpets, vintage linens, and vintage furnishings make for a calming and homey experience. We enjoyed walking in the neighborhood, and the bike path is close by. We made several trips to nearby Ohiopyle to see two Frank Lloyd Wright houses, and to enjoy the river parks there. Johanna was very considerate and gracious in sharing her space for a whole month with us. We certainly recommend staying here and are grateful we found this arrangement while in the area for business.
This is truly a relaxing place to stay! My husband and I are in the area for our business for 5 weeks, so this is an extended stay. We feel very lucky to have found Johanna and her comfortable home. It is a lovely space, built over a hundred years ago and full of original oak woodwork. It is tastefully decorated, down to the vintage linens and plush Oriental-style rugs. There is a back garden full of lush flowering plants and bushes, and the 2 dogs are sweet and cute. Johanna is very gracious in sharing the kitchen, bathroom, and laundry. The neighborhood is quiet with sidewalks for walking, and not far from here is a hike-and-bike trail which we're enjoying as well. There is the distinct feeling of old-time America, with folks sitting out on their front porches and saying hello as we pass by.
There is full wi-fi as well.
For anyone needing an air bnb in this area, I would certainly recommend this listing.
Most wonderful and gracious host, highly recommended for your visit to this area. Coffee in the morning with humming birds and flowers! What could be most pleasing to the eye and the spirit? Thank you Johana for your delightful hospitality! I
Johanna's house is beautifully, creative and comfortable in a quiet neighborhood outside the business district. She is warm and welcoming.
This was a very welcome place to stay after a week of driving across the country! Johanna has a beautiful house and garden. She makes sure that the room temperature is just right. The bathroom is nicely set up with dispensers for soap and shampoo. Anyone coming to the area should try to stay here.
Just like the listing said, quiet neighborhood, clean, comfortable, and Johanna was certainly flexible with our arrival and departure. It was a wonderful experience for our first Airbnb stay.
Johanna and I have been friends since I moved to Connellsville 4 years ago. She will bend over backwards to make a guest feel welcomed. She is very knowledgeable about the area. Any guest staying with her would enjoy your hospitality.
