I grew up in London and have been living in the San Francisco Bay Area for the past ten years running Golden Gate Feng Shui School. Below is my bio:
Manu is an entrepreneur in the natural healing arena. His areas of expertise include feng shui, essential oils, food energetics, electro-magnetic field detection, and creating healthy environments in the home and workplace. His passion is to provide learning opportunities for others so they, in turn, can create an ever-widening ripple effect of positive force in their own communities.
As a result of the school's ever-broadening curriculum, Manu created Living Environments for the growing feng shui certification program as well as an expanded coursework that includes health and healing, natural building principles, study of emf and eco sustainable design.
Manu has over 18 years of combined experience working in the natural healing arena and as an international feng shui consultant. He works privately with individuals as well as with architects, builders, realtors, designers, and other professionals.
He has studied classical feng shui with Liu Ming, Howard Choy, Alex Stark and with William Spear, educator and author of the best-selling book Feng Shui Made Easy. Manu is also a graduate of The New York School of Feng Shui.
Manu's experience practicing intuitive bodywork draws from his training in shiatsu techniques from Saul Goodman, founder of International School of Shiatsu. He blends this practice with knowledge acquired from a variety of teachers in complementary areas of study including reiki, emotional release work, healing with essential oils, and healing with whole foods.
His knowledge in healing foods served him well as a private vegen chef in New York and London, where he prepared healing meals for people recovering from serious illnesses. He also worked as a chef for the headquarters of an international yoga foundation in upstate New York, cooking for up to two thousand people. At the foundation's branch in India he served as manager of the food services department.
Prior to devoting himself full-time to the wholistic arts, Manu managed a mortgage brokerage, worked in sales, and founded a successful moving company in New York City.
Manu resides in the San Francisco Bay area. In addition to his role as Director of Golden Gate School of Feng Shui, he teaches regularly in the practitioner certification program and runs the Vocational Support Program helping students and graduates create thriving sustainable feng shui practices.
Manu's holistic approach to a feng shui consultation also takes into consideration individual needs, diet, environment, life circumstances, and physical condition.
