My husband, Ken and I currently live in an old farmhouse (circa 1900) on five acres where we used to raise grass fed beef. Ken is a retired woodworker (left The Joinery after many years of building fine hardwood furniture) and I recently retired from the real estate business. 5 years ago we purchased a slightly "newer" home, built in 1906 on a smaller acreage in the lovely town of Boring, Oregon! With it's many outbuildings, guest house and original barn it became the perfect place for this next phase of our lives. Ken is currently setting up his shop and has been building some beautiful furniture pieces. He also offers kiln dried lumber. I planted over 300 lavender plants last year and hope to expand that venture as we go along. Ken is a member of the Guild of Oregon Woodworkers and we both are members of the Oregon Lavender Assn. Our dog Dylan completes our family as my three children are grown and starting families of their own. We love traveling and airbnb is a perfect place to find great accommodations. We also have a listing for our farm under Wisteria Acres so we hope you will check that out.
