I live for travelling and am all for new adventures. I go where the wind takes me and love the opportunity to give up my apartment for the open road.

Dounia was a wonderful host and made me feel at home right away. The room is nice and cozy. I wasn't able to explore a ton of Toronto but was in a great area of the City. Would stay there again if I'm ever back in town.
Dounia was a very pleasant host. She was very helpful when we arrived and really made us feel welcome. The apartment was just as advertise, but better. We enjoyed a quiet stay and having a parking spot off the street was excellent. The location worked really well for us and it was great to be in the heart of the city but in a quiet neighbourhood. We look forward to staying here again.
This listing is exactly as described, a simple, clean one room studio in a quiet neighborhood. The parking behind the building and being so close to the Spadina stop made this a very convenient place to travel from. There is a hot plate and fridge, though we ate all our meals out. We did not meet Dounia but she was in communication throughout the weekend. The room is in an older building with other tenants. I would recommend this to anyone who wants an independent Airbnb experience and plans not to cook in.
A haven of peace and relaxation. Dounia prepared everything with care and attention, the studio is bright, furnished with taste. I had a wonderful stay. Thanks Dounia.
Dounia was very accommodating and helpful! She let me have an earlier check-in time and allowed me to park my car on her property until my meeting on UoT campus was over on a Friday evening. Her studio apartment was very clean, brightly lit and homey! Location is conveniently close to so many things (coffee shops, stores, UoT campus).
Dounia was immediately responsive, and always reachable when I messaged her. We did not get the chance to meet in person, but she made sure we had an easy check in.
The studio is indeed "charming" as per the description. Small and cozy, and most importantly clean! We had fresh sheets and towels, and the bed was super comfy. As we did not spend much time indoors, this place was exactly what we needed - a safe place to leave our things, a clean place to take a shower, and a comfortable bed to sleep!
Thank you Dounia!
Dounia's place was great - pretty much exactly as it appears. One small thing (that may be obvious if you look at the pictures perceptively) is that it's listed as a Real Bed, when it's actually a futon.
I really like the studio ! Great neighbourhood !
This place really lives up to its name; it's a charming studio in a beautiful old home. It's clean, bright, and cozy; situated in a convenient, quiet location. The subway is only 5 minutes away, where you can access both the Bloor-Danforth line and the Spadina-University-Yonge line. Lots of restaurants nearby, plus museums, shopping, and the University of Toronto.
This was my first stay at an AirBnB location, and Dounia must be one of their premier ambassadors. She was a great host, providing an easy key pickup at check in, and an even easier drop off at check out.
I'll definitely make this location my first choice the next time I'm staying over in Toronto for pleasure.
Dounia was very accomodating of our check-in and check-out time needs. She was there to meet us when we got there and she was nice enough to let us keep our car parked at the apartment after check-out. The apartment was clean and the room had a hot plate and a toaster oven which was fine for a short stay, but if you're staying longer and you plan to cook this may not be the best place. The location was great - 5 minute walk to the nearest train and about a 9 minute walk to the University of Toronto and the Royal Ontario Museum. Lastly, Dounia was also great at responding to e-mails and texts quickly. I contacted her when I couldn't locate a convenient store and she sent me recommendations almost immediately. Overall, I would say it was a great stay.
