One of the most fascinating things of any new place to me is the food people eat. I'm curious to get a taste of the flavor, to see the uniqueness that each place brings to the table. There's a reason why people eat all kinds of different things and I want to eat them all to find out why. It's traveling to discover but it's really traveling to eat.
I've been all around the world but the places I always find myself falling for are places rich with character. I'm deeply interested in the life of a building--who came before, who will come after--and find myself curious about a neighborhood's history. Aside from eating new food, the best thing about traveling is seeing the personality of each neighborhood.
I write for a technology website and have sort of a love/hate relationship with technology. I love how we're more connected than we've ever been and have the ability to find out anything at a moment's notice but I miss the days of not always having the answers. The days where we had to wonder about things and then forget about them and then remember them at the most random time which would allow us to wonder once more. Life might be better with technology but it's always good to disconnect now and again to remember who we used to be.
I love sports too. Though I find myself wondering why more and more these days since it's just millionaires running around in different color laundry playing for a trophy that we project importance on. But still, it's been my thing since I've been a kid and I can't ever shake it. I will always be excited to see the local sports team play at their local stadium.
If I was to ever have a life motto it'd be to worry about tomorrow, tomorrow.
