Its a real privilege to live in the Cotswolds and I enjoy being able to share this beautiful part of the world with all our guests.

Just returned from our stay at the Paddock. A wonderful respite. Allison and her daughter Coco (who designed the house) couldn't have been nicer. Unobtrusive but there whenever we needed them. The cottage was perfect for two and just as advertised. The walks behind the house were lovely as was the town of Bourton on the Water. Easy walks to town. Bring a flashlite. Allison's marmalade was fabulous. Sat out on the small patio every night with a glass of wine and watched all of the birds. Yes, we'll be back. Next time for a longer period to paint and hike more. Thanks so much!

We are always grateful for any suggestions guests make and we will be putting a torch and some binoculars in the cottage as well as getting the Rick Steve book. Thank you for those helpful thoughts.
We spent a delightful 2 weeks in Paddock Cottage exploring the Cotswolds. The cottage was lovely and well-equipped for travelers. Thanks to Alison for the home-made jam and fresh eggs.
The walks to town (several routes) were quick and easy. Favorites on our visit include:
…Aroma Indian restaurant take-out
We rented a car which let us explore a number of smaller small areas…after the 1st few days driving on the left side got easier!
This is a great place to stay, a lovely Cotswold retreat.
I particularly liked the bright and airy lounge, comfy sofa, glass doors out to the patio with view of the fields. Fantastic.
Andrea has set up a little box with a useful collection of maps, guide and local magazines.
From the cottage we went on walks to the local town and surrounding villages. The walk to Little Rissington is lovely and totally traffic free, along country lanes, through fields, and over little bridges.
Absolutely Fantastic cottage about a 10 to 15 minute walk from the village centre .. and a lovely walk at that.
Located in a beautiful village, our only regret was that we only had 3 days (2 nights).. we wished we could have stayed for longer.
Amazingly friendly and helpful hosts and the hens eggs were a delicious and well received morning gift :)
Will return for sure and recommend to others!
