I was born in Switzerland but grew up in England (my parents are English/US), then moved to the States for college where I got my BA in English Lit. and Spanish, and my MA in Cultural Anthropology. I came to Costa Rica for one year, which turned into twenty, after I started Intercultura language school here with a Costa Rican teacher I met while working at a San José language school, and we now have the two schools, one in Heredia and one in Sámara.
I live at the beach with my husband, daughter aged 3 and stepson aged 10, and in my free time I like biking, horse-riding (we have a horse) latin dance, and reading, while my husband likes playing football/soccer and cooking (lucky me!). On weekends we spend most of our time with the kids, enjoying the beach and surrounding areas.
