The apartment is spacious, tidy and conveniently located. Charlotte is very prompt in assisting us. We had a good stay and like the neighbourhood a lot.
It was wonderful. The place is cozy, nicely decorated, warm and comfortable. Velib, bakery, supermarket, metro, everything walking distance. Charlotte did not know personally, but all contact was very easy and the apartment was presented by Juliette, her sister. Everything worked perfectly (shower, internet, heating, etc.). The kitchen is very practical and functional, the key spices needed to cook was there. Anyway, the reception was great. The neighborhood of Le Marais is fantastic, one nice and lovely neighborhood with many bars and restaurants. The Temple metro is next to the apartment and very practical. Finally, I thank Charlotte and would certainly return to this apartment when Paris again.

We had a fantastic stay at Charlotte's loft in the Marais. Such a great apartment- not only was it in a perfect neighborhood, but the apartment itself was amazing. It was clean, spacious, nicely (email hidden)arlotte was incredibly helpful and checked in during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. Her husband met us upon arrival to make sure we were all set and he walked us through all of the details in the apartment. It was an incredible stay, and we certainly hope to return one day!
The apartment was spacious, well-located and clean - it was out first time with an airbnb and was perfect for me, my husband and 8 month old. Charlotte generously let us use the baby's room and left linens for all of us, including a changing pad and crib sheets.
We were able to walk to most sights - the Louvre, Musee d'Orsay and Pont Neuf are a 30-45 min walk and the Marais, where the apartment is located is a super convenient and wonderful neighborhood.
We had a fantastic stay in Charlotte's loft in Le Marias. For anyone wishing to stay in the Marais neighborhood during a visit to Paris (and why wouldn't you?) this is the perfect location. Between the Arts et Metiers and Temple metro stations, across the street from a beautiful park, and steps from the cafes and shops of Rue Bretagne, this loft proved to be the best starting-out point for our stay in Paris. On the couple of days we had rain, the loft was also a cozy refuge to read a book or take a nap.
Arriving in Paris after a long flight and navigating my way into the city from the airport was more difficult than I expected. Plus, I couldn't figure out how to send texts out from my phone at first (an international number thing). I was grateful that Charlotte kept in touch with me the minute I touched down until I was finally in the loft with my luggage. The loft was clean and ready for us, and had all the amenities we needed for the week. When it was time to leave, Charlotte arranged for a checkout that was convenient for us.
Overall, a great place to stay that met all of our needs. Thank you, Charlotte!
Our 10-day stay in Charlotte's loft made our trip to Paris the wonderful and unique experience that it was. We dream of returning to "our" apartment.
As this was our first airbnb experience, any hesitations we had were immediately put to rest when we walked through the door at 175 rue du Temple, into the flower-filled courtyard of the building, and then through the door of the apartment.
Located on the corner of rue du Temple and rue de Bretagne, we were right in the middle of everything. A boulangerie next door, from where we got our daily fix of pain au chocolate, a grocery store for our necessities, and many, many cafés (Cafe Charlot was our favorite, along with wine bar Le Barav) were all at our doorstep.
Across the street is Square du Temple, a beautiful park where we played ping pong on several days and enjoyed music and people-watching on others. I see one of my photos of this park every time I open up my iPad. :)
Just down the block is the Marche de les Enfantes Rouges, Paris' oldest market, where we enjoyed bento and delicious Moroccan food amidst a boisterous and lively crowd. So much fun, and one our favorite experiences of our stay. We were there twice in one week, and our 12 and 14-year-old kids still describe it to friends and family.
In the neighborhood, we enjoyed Musee de Arts y Métiers (not to miss!), Centre Pompidou and the Musee de Carnavalet. We walked to Notre Dame, Musee de Orsay, the Louvre, Musee Rodin and the Eiffel Tower (several miles, but a beautiful walk).
Charlotte and I communicated several times before our stay, and she offered to make dinner reservations for us when we got to Paris. How nice! We took her up on it, and were so glad we did! Charlotte recommended several restaurants and cafés and we went to all of them. Fantastique!
Charlotte's apartment quickly felt like our home-away-from home. It was such a wonderful place to return to every evening. When our friends visited from Zurich, we had a lovely space in which to entertain. The apartment has everything you might need-wine glasses, a coffee-maker, an iron and ironing board, a hair dryer, etc. The beds are cozy and the pillows are fluffy. My husband and I loved listening to a rainstorm in the middle of the night while sleeping in the loft.
Oh, and there are two metro stops within two blocks. So, whether you walk or take the metro, all of Paris is easily accessible.
Thank you, Charlotte, for all you did to welcome us and help us to make our stay all that we had hoped for and more.
The apartment is ideally located in center Paris. Nothing else to say than amazing loft!!! Charlotte made everything easy and comfortable for us! A big thank you to an amazing host!
I only have great things to say about our stay at Charlotte's loft in Le Marais. The apartment is just as pictured. The neighborhood is amazing. The park- literally across the street - is fantastic. The flowers were blooming, people playing ping pong, kids running around the playground, and a cute little pond perfect for sitting by and eating a croissant. Charlotte was a great host. She was always available immediately for any questions via text/email during our stay. I would recommend this loft to anyone looking to have a stay in Paris that really feels like you have your own place in Le Marais. The location couldn't be better.
Very nice guests
