Logan and Sally (plus their dogs Jesse and Newman) made my stay in Patzcuaro a safe and comfortable experience. Their home is centrally located, beautifully decorated with Mexican artesania, and has all the ameneties one could want. They are enthusiastic conversationalists and immediately showed me around town when I arrived. Logan makes excellent omlets, Sally has a mischevious sense of humor, and Jesse and Newman are the best lap dogs around. Logan and Sally gracefully accomodated some last-minute schedule changes I made, and happily shared informaton about transportation logistics and local sights. They are gracious hosts and I would recommend their home to any traveller.
When I grow up I want to be Logan and Sally. Seriously, how cool can a couple be? Whipping around town on their scooter, gracious hosts plus the added bonus of two adorable puppies offering the sort of pure affection and love Australian men could learn a bit about. (heh! kidding!) The place is wonderfully adorned with art, the roof view is to die for, it's clean and the bed had me asleep in 10 seconds. Highly recommend.
Ideal for people like me looking for where I might live in Mexico or for people who like arts.
Por Mexicanos - este hogar es increible, la gente son amable y los perros son muy divertidas! Es limpia y solo 15 minutos caminar al centro.
We were greeted with open arms from both Logan and Sally- not to mention the other hosts at the ranch-Jesse and Newman, their to pint-sized vaqueros! The decor absolutely charming and homey. The views were stunning and even though their location was a bit up the hill, every taxi cab could get us there or would come pick us up. They even had printed business cards with their info just in case you didn't speak Spanish.. They gave great tidbits of historical facts mixed w good common sense info so that anyone would feel comfortable navigating the city on their own. We loved them and would highly recommend you stay here! We will come back for sure!
Logan and Sally's charming house is worth the steep climb up, and you'll get an enthusiastic welcome from the 2 dogs. The neighborhood is safe, the comfortable rooms well-decorated and you'll feel like a member of the family rather than a guest. Logan could'n;t have been more helpful with directions, recommendations - and even gave me a ride to the bus station on my departure.
Great stay in Guanajuato at Logan & Sally's beautiful home (missed Sally). Very nice room, decor, view and hospitable reception on the hill, plus the cute dogs were fun, and quiet at night. The only small drawback....definite steep walk on the way back from town. That was clearly stated however and there is a bus most of the way or a taxi all of the way when you can find one. Susie
A charming, safe, family oriented, authentic Mexican neighborhood with wonderful hosts. If you are looking for a short walk, or an even shorter bus ride to the Centro, but a little distance from what can be its overwhelming pace, this is the perfect option! Logan and Sally are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable hosts. It felt more like staying with friends than at a B & B. The residence is beautiful, and in addition our room was very comfortable and spacious. Their terrace has a stunning view of the city and surrounding terrain, and is an excellent place to watch the sunset. The breakfasts were delicious and they even arranged home-cooked, authentic chile rellenos, which were the culinary hi-light of our trip. Officially our new place to stay in (email hidden)esome!
