Loved staying at Nina's apartment! While I did not get to meet Nina in person, her friend met me to give me the keys when I arrived in Rome. He was incredibly friendly and helpful, and met us at the apartment when we arrived at 12:30 am. The apartment itself was nice, just like the description in the listing. One full/queen sized bed, a nice open closet area with hangers, all necessary linens, a full bathroom with a standing shower, and an electric kettle to make coffee or tea in the morning. Getting to the city center from the apartment was very easy and only takes about 30 minutes depending on when you leave to catch the bus. You can take the 409 to Arco di Travertino, and get on the metro line from there. Your metro pass will cover the cost of the bus as well, but we found that no one seemed to actually validate their metro cards on the bus. So if you are in a bind, just hop on the bus and don't worry about not having your ticket. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are in Rome!
Very private and comfortable room in an interesting part of Rome. It is very well connected to the rest of Rome if you don't mind using public transportation, with multiple bus and tram stops only a few minutes walk from the room. Nina was helpful and accessible.
This was an amazing place to stay! If I was to go back to Rome I would definitely choose to stay with Nina again. The room has a separate entrance from the main house and loads of privacy. The rooftop terrace was also private and a great place to have morning coffee and breakfast under the sun. The room was as clean as can be with an air conditioner (should I get too hot). Nina was lovely and welcoming, she took the time to show us key places on a map to visit.
As for the location, it's great for those of you who want to experience both the tourist and local areas. It's an easy bus or tram ride into termini.
I highly recommend this place.
The room at Nina's is great, particularly if you want some privacy as it is completely separate to the rest of the house with it's own access. We really enjoyed staying in Torpignattara, it is not a touristy area but has easy access to Termini and is only a few stops away from Pigneto, where there are lots of bars and restaurants.
Ben collegata, pulita e silenziosa!!
We had a great time in Rome. Nina was very friendly and recommended restaurants and bars. The small apartment is clean and really comfy. As it is not situated in the touristic center you can easily find good and not too expensive restaurants and also buy your sandwiches in one of the small shops or bakeries in the neighborhood before taking the bus or tram into the city center. The stations are only a few minutes’ walk from the apartment.
Nina is a very friendly host. The place is lovely, I really recommend it!
The beautiful room with a separate entrance and own terassy. 20 min. by bus from Roma Termini. Nina is very friendly and is always ready to help.
Grazzzzzzzzie milleeeeee Nina. :-)))))))
Amitiés et d énormes bisoooooous de nous 3
Rossella and Dariel are absolutely fantastic people! They let themselves in as we were not at home when they arrived. And all in all they are independent travelers who do not require extra care, how easy for me! I hope to see them in the future and wish them all the luck with their adventures! Thanks!
People nice and friendly
Una coppia molto simpatica. La casa è stata lasciata in perfetto ordine.
