Grasi is my friend since we were... hum... 15 years old. We grew up in the same city and then we went to São Paulo. I was totally impressed with her capacity of connect with so special and cool people in her first year in São Paulo (I arrived there some years before her): I really love her friends, the places where she went out to listen/dance good music and her unique way of enjoy the city.
I was tired of São Paulo so I moved to Barcelona - where I am living nowadays - so when I came back there I usually stay in her apartment... and when I am there - in a very downtown house, very well decorated by her and her amazing husband - and enjoying her style of life I really love again that huge/chaotic/cultural/amazing city, São Paulo.
I totally recommend arrive in that city with Grasi's eyes, enjoying her knowledge about the architecture, social issues and cultural life... And enjoying her apartment - near downtown and Paulista, with lot of bus to everywhere and in a point of the city where you can understand well what is São Paulo, what is Brasil - in a 5 min walk you can see culture x poor people x fancy restaurants x parties x important postcards of the city.... Welcome!
