My husband, Tim, and I are both artists. I'm a jeweler who specializes in upcycling. I take lesser objects like pencil eraser caps, frosting applicator tips, and wine collar wrappers and give them a better life as limited edition and one-of-a-kind jewelry. Tim works in wood and metal, making furniture, art and custom signs. Occasionally we collaborate on projects using found objects -- one of which is called the "Ice Machine" constructed from a discarded endoscopic cleaning tray and 100 year old chandelier crystals. Our house is filled with art from friends that we meet on the fine art and craft show circuit. We don't own a television so our time is spent reading, and talking, and making art. Tim is widely read. He has a chair with a globe next to it, and a book on the table and through his reading he has traveled around the world and back and forth in time. He is a terrific cook, specializing in French Canadian cuisine. Our most used room is the dining room where good food and good conversation take place. To be a guest in our home is to be embraced by beauty, warmth, and hospitality. We are delighted to share our lovely home with our guests. Life is an adventure and we look forward to enjoying it with you.
