Beth is a great and very welcoming host. She was highly accommodating for our needs during the stay. The house is absolutely fantastic, roomy, very neat, and convenient. Not to mention the terrific fruit basket! Would love to stay here again if we are in the area.
This duplex was a perfect getaway spot - the deck was perfect for morning coffee or an afternoon drink, the rooms were spacious and the beds comfortable, and the kitchen was well-equipped to allow us to cook on site. We arrived late and were thrilled to find a fresh loaf of bread, cheese and a generous fruit platter to tide us over.
The duplex is easy walk to the pier and quaint shops on Narragansett Ave. We would return in an instant, and recommend this place to friends.
What a wonderful experience! Beth had a loaf of bread, fruit, crackers, coffee & tea, 1/2 & 1/2 and many other wonderful items available for us to use. The beds were very comfortable - the house cozy and clean - towels soft.
I couldn't have found a better place to stay.
What a wonderful, quiet, escape! Beth was very kind and welcoming. We felt as though we were staying at a friend's attached apartment - a friend who wanted to make sure we had everything we needed but also knew we needed our space. We saw Beth and her dog, Roo (never heard a bark out of him beyond his initial greeting), in her front yard when we arrived and said hello. She gave us helpful information, a good restaurant recommendation and even told us about the market's business hours. We were welcomed into our comfortably-furnished unit by an assortment of fruits and even some dark chocolate. (How could Beth have known that my wife LOVE dark chocolate?) The kitchen had all we needed even with coffee in the cabinet and half-n-half in the fridge. Our plan was to do some cycling over the weekend. Beth provided a Bike Newport map for us. Though the weather was too cold for biking, we enjoyed the mansions of Newport, the Cliff Walk and a local restaurant right around the corner. My wife settled in with a book both nights while I watched the Sox lose two nights in a row. We loved our stay and wish it were longer. The warmth and homieness of staying in the neighborhood is so much better than hotels. Thank you, Beth!
It was beautiful place and Beth is a great host. We had a wonderful time there. Surprising welcome gift was also nice. My kids loved the fruits. Jamestown is also good place to stay, quiet, cosy, and easy access to Newport area. It was perfect!!
I and my family have been frequent visitors to Rhode Island, and we have always loved it! This visit was no exception. But as a first AirBnB experience, I'm afraid Beth may have ruined it for everybody else... she set the bar so high, I can hardly imagine that we could find a more pleasant host, or better accommodations. Her home was immaculate, and every comfort listed was provided (and more!) :) She welcomed me, and helped with a wealth of information about Jamestown... She also provided a large basket with fresh fruits, fresh bread, and yummy chocolates... nice touch - and very thoughtful. Her home is literally a "turn-key" operation! Before I left I offered this advice: "Beth, don't change a thing..." My memory of the time spent here.... is that it was like therapy. Thank you, Beth!!
Beth was extremely accommodating. From preparing her beautiful house for me and my family, leaving us fruits, and helping us plan out day trips.. Without her hospitality we could not have enjoyed our trip to Jamestown in the manner in which we did. Her house is centrally located, and there are numbers of family friendly activities to take part in. I look forward to returning to Jamestown, and when I do I will be eager to stay with Beth again.
Beth has a beautiful place & is a superb host! Before arriving she was gracious enough to answer several questions by email and give me some additionally helpful advice. Once we arrived she sent a text message to check on us and made her herself available. We loved the apartment and felt the listing was very accurate. After seeing Newport we were quite happy to be staying in Jamestown instead actually -- such a cute neighborhood and she's within walking distance of grocery store, post office, and a cafe. We'd happily return here!
My parents and I had a great time, and Beth's place was clean, comfortable, and just perfect!
We enjoyed this place a lot. We traveled to Provincetown for my wife anniversary, and this place was in a very nice area away from the crowds. The place is very comfortable and has everything you could need. Beth was a very nice host. we will definitely come back.
Beth, her daughter, son in law and baby were delightful guests to host! They were so nice and pleasant to have around. They took good care of the house and are welcome back anytime!
We so enjoyed hosting Beth and her sister! They are wonderful ladies and a joy to get to know. They left the apartment looking spotless. We would gladly host them again anytime and highly recommend them to anyone.
Great guest, would welcome them back any day
