We absolutely loved our stay with Ben and Rachel. Sweet, personal, and extremely genuine people, I can't imagine a more therapeutic space to stay in Mill Valley. We so appreciate their incredible hospitality and helpfulness!
Our stay with Ben and Rachel was perfect, they are very friendly people and gave us a warm welcome. The house is beautiful and the room is a little nest as described on the pictures. Ideal for a refreshing escape in the middle of the woods.
I had a lovely and relaxing experience in this house. Ben and Rachel greeted me shortly after I arrived and were very friendly and welcoming. This was truly one of the most tranquil places I've ever stayed, and I slept just fine with the window open and creek bubbling below.
Ben & Rachel were really sweet. They have a beautiful house in a peaceful location but still only a 30 min drive away from the big hustle in San Francisco. It's a great place to escape from the City, get some fresh air, see some trees and nice villas (all right next to their house), but still be able to go out for dinner in Mission.
This place is just exquisite. I spent a solo getaway night here and it was exactly what I needed: relaxing, clean, quiet, beautiful. I could hear the stream from the window. Rachel and Ben could not possibly have been friendlier or more welcoming. They are interesting, kind people. I hope to come back.
Ben and Rachel were lovely and helpful; the bed was comfortable; the setting was beautiful.
Delightful house in the woods. Amazing view. If you have never taken a trip to California Muir Woods area, do yourself a favor and spend a couple nights here. The accommodations are thorough but rustic, so heads up to any fellow east coasters looking for a Hilton in the trees; this ain't it. Ben and Rachel are so kind and their welcoming nature makes it well worth it. Stay a while, turn off your cell phone, and enjoy their amazing house.
Gorgeous home in a quiet, wooded area which is just what we needed in a quick getaway from the city. Ben wasn't there, but insured we felt very much at home -- which we did! The bed was amazingly comfortable and we fell asleep happily to the sound of a babbling brook. We're already scheming our next trip up so we can fully take advantage of all the nearby hiking!
This is a wonderful place in the middle of a redwood grove with a water stream running past it. We had a wonderful time. Ben and Rachel went out of their way to make sure that we were able to enjoy and relax during our vacation there.
We could feel the warmth at the bottom of the hill. Walking inside, eyes wide, hearts soothed by the soft décor and the markings of a playful, yet rooted existence.
Our senses dancing with profound tranquility.
Rachel welcomed us, entreating us to make ourselves at home...and we knew she deeply meant it.
We shared the most nourishing and healing weekend, helped along by the intention and love that Rachel and Ben have danced into the beams. How lovely to be able to walk into the woods in all directions, or into town for groceries. How lovely to hear the creek as you fall asleep, and let it call you out of bed in the morning. (incessant stream of peace!) How lovely that such a space is opened up for travelers.
Rachel and Ben know that abundance is felt through sharing. I usually feel uncomfortable in another's space (sometimes even my own) But that didn't come up in this house. I could feel the sincerity behind everything they gave, and knew that they gave it freely.
Ben and his fiance stayed one night. They got in late and left early in the morning so it was a quick hosting. He communicated a lot before and after his arrival so 5 stars on that! They left the bathroom clean and followed all rules except emptying the bathroom trash can. I'd recommend Ben as a guest.
