I am originally from Battle Creek, Michigan and have lived in Brooklyn, New York since 1986. I teach Voice and Speech at NYU Tisch School of the Arts. In private practice, I provide voice and speech coaching (including dialect acquisition) for actors, news anchors, business people and anyone interested in unleashing their vocal potential. It's exciting and deeply fulfilling work. I have a grown son I'm very proud of who lives, works and studies in Chicago. I love running in charity races - although I am more of a trotter than a runner. I love coffee and chocolate, word games, books, film and theater - and music of all kinds. I do not smoke.
