Jeff and Lisa's airstream provided exactly the experience we sought: privacy, beauty, and proximity to various locations.
Jeff and his family were so welcoming and the Airstream itself was so comfortable and perfect. Lisa was so kind as to recommend some exciting places to visit around Hood River (Including Tamanawas Falls and Kiyokawa Orchards) which really made the trip amazing.
Jeff was so welcoming and the house and surrounding area are so wonderful. The bed was very comfortable and the Airstream had everything that we needed for our stay. Overall, a really fantastic experience.
My wife and I stayed with our 8 month old daughter. I would rate this as slightly above average- the space is pretty great- private and quiet. Also very scenic. However, it isn't as rural as I was expecting based off the description. Everything we needed was there and available. The Fire pit was great. The comforter on the bed was also really warm.
The trailer is very vintage, and really cool. However, It DOES really needs some TLC. Given the low, low price, you get what you pay for. However the stove was out of order, heat was limited to a small older space heater, and there wasn't any hot water in the trailer. I wouldn't think it would take much effort to hook up a propane tank and refurbish the place a bit to make it a little more kitschy and and comfortable. Right now it borders on "run down". It WAS clean. It's a really great trailer and seems a waste not to spruce it up a bit
The property is really nice and spacious, with a chicken coup and a nice view. But again, it needs spruced upped a bit. The owners house is really nice- but there are a lot of random items just kind of laying around the property. Again, I know you get what you pay for, but a little time spent picking up would make a huge difference. All in all a fun visit - more of a one-time event versus a place we would stay again. At least as a family- I think this would be a perfect place for a single or a couple just needing a place to crash on a ski , or fishing trip.
We had a super cozy stay. The airstream was great, a step back in time, full of vintage goodness. And while it was not in a super remote location, we still felt a world away during out stay. Just a couple miles up from all the action in Hood River.
We had a great time in the Airstream. Its in a nice open backyard, not remote, but a lot of open space. The inside is cozy and has a nice feel overall. Great bed.
We had a great experience! I took my boyfriend here on a very last-minute birthday getaway - we booked same-day and were able to stay in Hood River that night! The shower inside the Airstream didn't work, but there is an outdoor shower available. The bed was comfortable and warm on a chilly night. We will definitely come back to have another cool, unique experience in Jeff's Airstream!
I didn't get to meet Jeff, but my boyfriend met his wife, who was very friendly. The trailer was nice and clean and fun to stay in. Loved the outdoorsy feel and beautiful, peaceful surroundings. There's a cute little chair set outside of it with a small fire pit where we sat cozily at night. Will return when I'm back in HR!
The Airstream was very comfortable and the setting could not have been more idyllic. I spoke briefly with Jeff and felt welcomed. My daughter and I especially enjoyed the hot shower in the morning, overlooking the woods. This was a special spot, I'll definitely stay again next time I'm in the area.
It was a lovely place to stay. Very comfortable. The hosts were very nice and welcoming.
What a quaint little situation Jeff has going! Love an airstream and this one was great!
Jeff was a great guest...communicated well and left my condo tidy. I would host Jeff again without hesitation!
Really great guest! Would recommend unequivocally.
