Mansour is very friendly and easy going. The location is fantastic and very convenient to downtown Beirut and AUB/Hamra area. The house is a really nice old building nestled in a corner of an alley and as a result is nicely removed from the racket of noise on the street.
Amazing apartment and host. I was looking for a place where I could feel at home, and I found it here. Totally recommendable.
Mansour has an absolutely lovely and spacious apartment, it is basic, great value, and close to Hamra, one of the nicest neighbourhoods in Beirut.
We were four people and stayed for a week. Mansour was helpful when something didn't work (water or internet) and always send someone over immediately to fix things.
The only downside: The apartment can get cold in winter, so I'd recommend it for spring and summer rather than winter.
We enjoyed our stay at Manour's place a lot. The flat is calm and nice. Old style and free style, just as we like it!
The location is great, close to the sea, to Hamra, to the city center....
supermarket and all facilities just around the corner!
What to say? Best place to stay!
I had a nice introduction to Beirut while staying at Mansour's apartment for two weeks. As a host, Mansour was friendly and relaxed, ready to answer questions. If you're like me and want to stay in a more "traditional"-style place while visiting Beirut, this is a good choice, full of space and character and equipped with some useful modern conveniences (wifi, washing machine, good shower). It's in a good location, one block or so from the Corniche and easy walking distance to Hamra and downtown.
