Jon washington great, thank you very much ;)
It was really good. A little small. But well organized
Great experience (first time with airbnb) Jon is a very friendly host and very polite. From this place it is very easy to take a T to Downtown Boston and everywhere. My bed was comfy and the room is very clean, quiet. I do recommend staying here.
Jon is a great manager of the airbnb beds in his Boston studio! He is extremely flexible and makes sure that you have everything you need (even before you might realize yourself that you need it!).
Nice neighborhood and even nicer host :) Jon will respect your privacy or dive into deep conversation - whatever your preference is. Wouldn't hesitate to stay with him again!
Jon is a great guy. He really wants to make you feel comfortable while you are traveling. Jon is very personable and seems to build relationship with those that stay at his place.
When I walked into Jon's apartment I was a little surprised and underwhelmed to see that it was a shared room with Jon and two other guys. However, they were really nice guys and I was not there most of the time. I would wake up and prepare to head out and by the time I got in at night everyone was pretty much already sleep. I found it great considering I did not have to spend a ton of money for a hotel that I was not going to be spending a lot of time in anyway. And I enjoy experiencing different things.
Lastly, Jon lives in a growing neighborhood where there are good restaurants and shops if you get a little hungry or want to walk around before you adventure greater Boston!
clean, organized, respectful environment. very easy to communicate with jon.
Frankly I really didn't expected anything except a place that I could lie down for a while -- But it was much more than that. The pictures of the room are pretty much accurate. It is a studio with one bathroom, the place which will remind you the place of your sophomore classmate. It is full of warmth and kindness emitted from the person who lives there. You know, long journey somewhat makes you worn out because of its own alienness. I actually could not feel that at all, in Jon's studio -- Even I was able to get myself off and recharge for a while, which you usually couldn't in 4- or 6-female (or male) dorm in hostel. With respect to more practical side, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom (including the stuffs) was clean enough to satisfy a traveler like me. The neighborhood was really safe enough to walk all the way from Sullivan Square (Orange line) after watching midnight movie at Kendall. I would say Jon's place would be best fit for (grad) student travelers with low budget, but open-minded, who can go anywhere with their backpacks to seek experience and adventure.
Jon was great, The place was great. I would certainly visit again.
Jon is a wonderful host: conversation, helpful assistance, makes everyone welcome.
Easy T (subway) connections from Sullivan Station to downtown, Cambridge, or the airport. Quiet peaceful.
I was fortunate to have been there with travelers from South Korea, Colorado, California--on my return home from Doha and Dubai and Tripoli--and enjoyed a jam session one night, what a pleasure.
Jon was one of the best neighbors I've ever had. When I was new to the Somerville/Cambridge area, he helped me get my bearings and he told me how to get around. In the time we lived next door to each other, we had many intellectually stimulating conversations about life. I miss it! Jon is a great guy!
