I am a young professional who is always on the move. I come from and work in Europe. I live in London in the same building where I am renting out the studio.

we stayed at jules studio for some days off in london. everything was nice and perfect. the communication was easy and jules made us feel more than welcome. thanks for being our host.
I didn't get the chance to meet Jules, but the room apartment was pretty self explanatory. It is in a nice central location in London.
Pros: Very clean, equipped with nice amenities,
Cons: The heating in the apartment could be better, the location is hard to find, the cleaning fee should be included in the list price.
Jules' studio was absolutely perfect for our recent trip to London. It was clean, comfortable, tastefully decorated and in a safe and exciting area of the City, close to transportation. Jules was easy to communicate with and we appreciated her warm welcome and concern for us.
The only caution we would give would be the number of stairs for anyone with mobility issues (we personally enjoyed the exercise!).
Very nice room in Knightsbridge. Close to everything. Jules was very helpful.
It's a room more than a studio as there's no kitchenette. You can just have coffee and tea.
Nice place anyway. Thanks again Jules for your help during uour stay.
Very nice apartment, great location and a lovely host!
Jules' flat was exactly what we were looking for in London. The location is fantastic, and the flat itself is extremely comfortable. Jules was kind enough to make accommodations for an early arrival, the flat was clean, and the bedroom spacious. When we arrived it was clear the heater had been off for a while (it was very cold in London during our trip!), but once we got the heaters on it was very welcoming.
Make sure to read the listing carefully - while there are some challenges (the stairs, the small water heater, the cash cleaning fee) they're all spelled out very clearly there, and in the comments. None of these things was a problem for us, since we'd anticipated them.
A note on the stairs - I have back and hip issues that make stairs challenging - and I was fine here. Yes, there are many stairs, but they are not steep, and there are several landings to break up the climbing. While it wasn't always the easiest, it wasn't terrible either - and the comfort of the flat was more than worth the bit of extra exertion.
The neighborhood (especially south to South Kensington station) was especially wonderful - so many shops and spots to eat! We could have spent several more evenings exploring. Make sure to venture that way when you stay!
Thank you again, Jules, for the wonderful stay!
The location is amazing, and the flat has been decorated well but it is not without its drawbacks.
Firstly, being charged an extra thirty pounds for cleaning fees, to be paid in cash in addition to the price already paid stung a bit for someone who didn't read the description thoroughly enough.
Secondly, access. To get to the apartment requires going up about 70 stairs through an unappealing set of corridors.
Thirdly, I was expecting more food reparation facilities on the "kitchenette". What is provided is a cupboard in the bedroom with plates and cups, a kettle, a Nespresso machine and a small fridge. There is no toaster, microwave or sink. The capacity to prepare more than a hot drink is fairly limited.
All in all its a great bedroom in an excellent location in central london, but not much more.
The location of this one room place was perfect: very convenient to the Tube, buses, and walking distance to many museums and close to the theatre district. It was one block off the main street, which made it quieter. The host did not meet us but left the keys with his cleaning woman. There were no written or verbal instructions; thus we spent a day without heat and longer without any wifi. This could easily be remedied. The hot water was a really bad experience, allowing only about 5-7 minutes for any hot water for showers. The place was also up five flights of stairs with no elevator, so lugging our suitcases up and down was very trying. It was not really an apartment, per se, but there was a microwave and dishes in a closet. Close and convenient, with a great bed - those were the highlights.
We really enjoyed our time at Knightsbridge, which was certainly helped by Jules' comfortable studio.
The stairs were a challenge after a long day of sightseeing, and would probably be a major obstacle for someone with knees or hips that aren't working as they used to. There were some minor problems with the Internet, which were promptly dealt with by Jules. Overall a good introduction to the world of airBNB.
good experience! You're welcome back!!
