We really liked Alberto's apartment! Everything was enough and design is very modern. You can get to the Rome center on foot or by bus which goes very often. It takes 30 min walk to reach Colosseum. I recommend everyone to visit Rome and don't hesitate to stay at Alberto's apartment ;)
Proprietario gentile e disponibile.
Alberto was very sweet and welcoming. The location was nice, in a quite and lively neighbourhood, though a little far from public transport connections. The apartment has only one tiny side window, which can trick ones daily rhythm, as there is almost no natural light coming in. The internet wasn't working, and for us it was quite problematic that we were not made aware of that in advance, as we were not just on vacation but had quite a lot of work to be done, and many hours ended up spent in internet cafes. Besides, the kitchen was not equipped at all, only a couple glasses and plates, knifes and forks. Major turn down, as we were planning on cooking, and ended up spending more than we had planned. Alberto was so nice to give us a ride to the station when we were leaving, but that turned up as a quite stressful end to our visit to Rome: no trains left from the station he took us (Tuscolana) on that sunday between 11 and 13, (neither to the airport or to some other connecting station) and we had to be at the airport at 12'30 latest. We would grab a cab to the central station if there was one - and believe we looked, and waived and walked after one - but nothing. We ended up calling a cab after asking the number to a lady on the street, and spending 50 euros all the way to the airport. At least we caught our flights, but it would have been cheaper and less stressful if we were left to figure our way to the airport on our own... We appreciated the good intention, but it just turned up very wrong.
