Lexies Condo is a really beautiful and save place to stay. It is huge, has a nice pool area and a tub on the balcony. The kitchen is well equipped. We loved it.
It was very nice to rent Lexie’s place again, it is just such in a perfect location for me. You can just go walk all over town from there and get your Starbucks on the way… It’s awesome!
The security guards are super nice and helpful to flag you cabs too. This is just a very secure and friendly place to stay if you are a solo traveler like me.
There were a couple of rainy days this time around but I just used the gym during those days… Hehehe... Rain didn’t stop me from using the pool area and its big jacuzzi either. :D
I stayed in Lexie’s condo for two weeks and it was awesome! The place is exactly like the pictures show. I go to Cancun often and used to rent another condo in Puerto Juarez but for me, the Cancun Towers has just a better location and closer to town, you can walk practically everywhere from the condo…
24hrs Oxxo is 5 min walk on one side of Bonampak, full grocery store and Starbucks about 15 min walking the other side, and you can catch the bus for the Hotel Zone/Public Beaches on Coba Avenue, which is just passed the Starbucks. So basically you can grab a coffee and head to the beach…
Her condo is also just a 10 min walk to a good local spot called “Marbella” where you’ll find pretty good “empanadas de camarones” for 55 pesos (± $5.50), the restaurant has outdoor seating only and is located almost at the corner of Bonampak and López Portillo.(Continue passed Oxxo, turn right on López Portillo and it’s right there…)
You can also catch a collectivo in front of Marbella that will take you to the Puerto Cancun Ultramar Ferry to cross over to Isla Mujeres, which is a nice day trip to do and the best spot to catch the sunset over the ocean on Playa Norte…
25 pesos (± $2.50), will get you one-way on Yaxchilán Avenue where there are some good restaurants like “La Parilla” and “Los Arcos” just beside it is also pretty good and always have some good live bands playing… "La Taberna" in front also have some decent and cheap drink specials… “Parque de Las Palapas” nearby can be fun when they have local festivities going on… And you can find nice little Salsa Club just across from it on the Tulipanes “walking street”…
Taxi to the airport from the condo should costs you around 200 pesos (± $20).
Loved the location of her place!
I will definitively be renting from Lexie again!
In short, the space is fantastic, Lexie herself is very responsive, and the condo staff is friendly and informative.
The condo is spacious and airy, with a very comfortable living room and two bedrooms (ideal for parents with 2 or more children, I'd imagine.) The kitchen might be a bit narrow for adventurous cooking and the fridge is awkwardly placed, but it's fine for everyday use.
Apparently the space was less-than-spotless upon my party's arrival, but given that we reserved the space on short notice, that's fairly understandable. Plus, Lexie was quick to reply to my texts and kind enough to waive the cleaning fee!
The only thing I'd stress to those considering the space is that it is some distance from the Zona Hotelera, the main hub for most tourist activities. It's certainly not far, but you will find yourself taking cabs and riding busses daily. Thankfully, the R-1 and R-2 busses, which will take you anywhere you're likely to want to go in the Zona Hotelera, pick up just a few blocks away. The staff will be happy to tell you where to catch these busses.
On the other hand, the condo's distance from the main drag is also a blessing -- unless your'e the kind who loves to be surrounded by activity at all hours of the day and night. Cancun Towers' separation from the Zona Hotelera makes it a space of escape from the Zona's constant hubbub, granting a little peace and quiet when you need it.
Lexie´s place was amazing, extremely comfortable and clean. Everything was great! The only thing we couln´t use was the internet because it is through a USB so we had to go downstairs and use the wi-fi.
Lexie Thanks a lot!! :) We would like to come back!
The condo was brilliant for our holiday.
We have booked for our 15 days holiday for this christmas and new year holiday as we did not wanted to have a typical "all incl. holiday" in a hotel.
The condo was very clean and comfortable.
We would like to come back soon :)
I just came back from Lexie's place and I had an amazing time!
The condo was simply amazing and was giving a breathtaking view on the golf course. When we arrived, we were surpised how clean the condo was. This place is very secure since there is a security gate at the entrance with a guardian. The condo is not located too far from the downtown area, the grocerie store and the hotels. However, I would suggest the future guest to rent a car like we did.
Also the pool area downstairs is great although the private spa on the balcony!
I would go back anytime and I strongly recommand this brand new place to everyone.
Lexie's place was wonderful and staying there helped us to thoroughly enjoy our stay in Cancun. The place is really big, extremely comfortable and has a huge balcony and is definitely luxury. There is also a gym and pool area, which we had mostly to ourselves. Just one thing to note is that the internet is through a USB, which means it can sometimes be a bit temperamental but I was definitely able to use the internet and send e mails for the most part. The view of the fireworks on New Year's Eve from the balcony was an added treat. While you do have to drive/get a taxi/bus to the main beaches they are not far and if you are okay with doing this then Lexie's place is perfect. I would definitely stay there again. Her place is amazing!!
The apartment is in a very modern building and nicely decorated. It is a 5-15 minute cab ride away to the bus station, downtown area, hotel zone, and ferry to Isla Mujeres. The kitchen has a lot of counter space and has pretty much all the utensils you'll need. The balcony has a great view of the city. The pool is really nice and we pretty much had it to ourselves. Although one of the concierges does speak English, I think you really need to know some Spanish to stay here since the person who guards the gate and the taxi drivers know very little to no English. The golf cart was really cool but since the property is very new, it was difficult to find the small beach nearby (it takes about an hour to walk there and 20 minutes with a golf cart - if you know where you're going). There were no signs for the beach anywhere, which made it challenging. If you're able to find the beach club, it's really nice (with a pool, lounge chairs and a restaurant) and was pretty empty when we were there. If you want to go to a typical beach, it's a cab ride away. Not much is within walking distance, but cabs are pretty cheap (around $1.50-$2 U.S. each way). There is a grocery store within walking distance that takes credit cards so that was nice. Also, ATMs are few and far between. The one that was across from the building was not working when we were there. Also, there is internet, but it's pretty slow and uses a dial up connection.
Lexie was a very quiet and clean guest. We would be happy to have her back at the Purple Victorian.
Lexie was nice person, communicative, and flexible.
We didn't see much of Lexie and her friend while they were here as they were busy exploring the city, but they were good guests, tidy and considerate, we hope they enjoyed their stay.
Lexie and her friend were two very nice guests. They were discrete and left the place very clean and tidy. I would recommend Lexie to any hosts !
Lexie & her friends were very relaxed & flexible to make arrangements with. They took wonderfull care of my apartment, left it spotless & tidy. They are more than wlecome to stay again!
Nice guest. Friendly and polite. Recommended!
