It's not about me, it's about the place. We're both pretty unique though :]
Overall, this property was not as expected. I was extremely disappointed. There was no security for the suite (no way to lock the suite door when we left) & the house was not kept locked, with people coming & going even late at night. I felt unsafe. Abram has 2 housemates, one of which had no respect for guests. He held a loud party beginning at midnight one night. Furthermore, the whole place was unclean. This property is only a viable place to stay if you want to hang out at a bachelor pad and party with college kids.
This was my first booking and I was satisfied with my stay. The bonus of a private bath and my own key to use was a nice amenity. Getting up to the second floor could pose a problem for guests who have limitations. The neighborhood was quiet and convenient to a main thoroughfare.
Abram is fantastic. He's exactly the kind of person I want to be staying with when I travel: trustworthy, authentic, brilliant, excited about EVERYthing and super sweet. I've known Abram for a few years, since I made a documentary that he was in. He had really long dreadlocks back then when I met him, and I remember thinking that he wasn't what I would stereotypically think of as a dready. He's totally one-of-a-kind. I highly recommend him.
Abram is a really interesting dude. He's passionate about everything from politics to music, he has a sense of style and a great sense of humor. We met through my old roommate and have been friends for over five years.
Abram's house in Boston is in a great location and has a great layout and I would stay there in a heartbeat if I didn't already live in the area.
Abram is a great guy and a great friend! We've known each other for years- he's a laid back individual with a kind soul. I'd definitely recommend him as someone to let stay in your home, or as someone to stay with. He's trust worthy, honest and a really solid person.
