I am a conservation biologist by training. I have spent the last 20 years studying the ichtyo-fauna of the Amazon river system. Over the last two decades I have lent my services and my proprietary techniques for sustainable aquaculture to various indigineous tribes of the Amazon Rainforest who are being forced out by starvation. I have also broadened my sustainability practices to include agriculture. Namely with fruit trees and flowering plants.

For the past 30 years I have been a avid student and teacher of yoga. Three years ago I took my first break from my conservation work and decided to travel the world teaching yoga. My purpose was to see how yoga translates to different cultures across our planet. I believe that it is with the understanding of man that our planet can be healed and yoga is the tool to do it with.

By nature I am a clean and quiet person. Personal hygene is very important to me and I believe that it should extend to the environment I live in. As a result you will find that I will be very respectful to your home and keep it very clean. I am a very balanced person have have done so without the need for alcohol, cigarettes or drugs. While this is a personal decision of mine I do not impose my point of views or the way that I live my life upon others. My life is my personal choice. I do not judge others as I walk in my shoes only.

I am a child of many nations. I am of Portuguese descent *(Lisbon) and lived all over South East Asia. Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines. While in Asia I travelled extensively to all the neighboring countries. I did my professional university training in Boston and from there have worked in and travelled to every nation in South America over the last two decades. In addition to my love or nature and yoga, I am most fascinated about what learn about people and their cultures from my travels and interactions in my life.

I enjoy emersing myself in nature and look for opportunities to do just that. As a biologist I love all life. I I also have a fondness for historical architecture. As far as activities I dabble in photography. I am an avid scuba diver, surfer, was a junior olympic indoor volleyball player and still play the beach game.
