Over the past year of sharing my space to individuals interested in honoring the arts and overcoming deeply embedded linguistico-cultural stereotypes, I have learned that the open-minded are growing in numbers! Welcome to the Tin Shack! This is an artsy space for open-minded travelers who want a change-of-pace.
A singer/songwriter, I also love to read, hike, camp, and play piano. Studying for a master's degree in community psychology takes up most of my time. With an interest in life/home organization, I have enjoyed setting up The Shack as a home that runs itself.
I am fortunate to be able to feel at home in at least two states: Wisconsin and Idaho. Lake Michigan and its many parks (MUST SEE: Grant Park -- 10 min drive from the shack!) have so much to offer including breathtaking views and numerous outdoor activities. National forests throughout this great outdoor state, like nearby Kettle Moraine Forest, also keep us loyally spoiled. When the cold winter Wisco months stack up and the novelties begin to wear thin, it is time to visit family in Idaho.
