The room was perfect! It was exactly as described and in a great location. I would highly recommend staying here.
The setup here was better than the pictures might indicate. Sure, you get a bunk bed in a shared room, but the house as a whole (including the bedding/bedroom) is clean and inviting. I was regularly contacted by the host throughout my stay, and the longer-term residents of the Crayola House were great in helping me feel at home.
Crayola Home is a mix between house and hostel. Although it is not specially clean nor new, It is confortable and has a good environment. It is located in a quiet residential area, but the problem is that there is nothing but other houses in a mile. If you want to buy food, for example, the nearest shop is in 20 minutes walking. In this sense is not ideal, so take it into account if you are coming.
At first i got an extensive tour through the impressive house and a detailed explanation how everything works. I felt welcomed immediatly and chatted a lil bit with almost every housemember.
Room was just as described. Great Host and Communication!
The instructions given were perfect.. The inmates already living there explained and were helpful.. it is great mutually inclusive community life.. nice neighbourhood...
The neighborhood is nice, very green and peaceful. It has a great view from the house.
The home is close to downtown.
You can cook if you want and the kitchen has all the utensils you need.
The guests are helpful and respectful.
The hosts communicate with you to check if everything is okay.
The home is a good hostel place to stay.
I was there for just 2 nights and it was enough to make friends with a guy from Switzerland who was passing through Seattle on his way back home.
Such a relaxing environment and gorgeous view of Lake Washington & surrounds.
I felt like Crayola home was a great retreat in Seattle, a great place to rest and get creative! Not too far from Downtown Seattle.
Def lots of guests coming & going but I enjoyed the Saturday night bonfire! Something we don't do in Summer in Austrslia for obvious reasons!
It's a nice place! Those rooms are really clean, nice and comfortable for staying! And roommates are pretty nice! the location is really convinent to visit downtown ladmarks. In addition, they offered AC so even though it's preety hot I still slept well!
Thank you Mike!
Great place to stay, amazing view. A little hot when the weather is warm. Guest are pleasant and understanding to personal space. The rooms are organized and neat. Lots of guide boards to help guest find their way. Enjoyed my stay very much.
Michael is a great person. He has a lot to share and it was a real pleasure to have him as guest. I highly recommend him.
Aloha to future hosts,
Michael and his group were great guests. Yes, there was quite a few persons but they were all very respectful and left the house in great shape, we appreciate that!
They even let our dogs out for a run while we were in town, mahalo!
They would be welcome back again and we hope the rest of their time on the Big Island is a great adventure.
Aloha Gail and Greg Smith
Michael had a large group with him and it was obvious to me that he was doing his absolute best to be responsible and caring. Michael is a good man.
