To be a guest of Francesca means to feel almost at home. Professionally and foresighted, she cares about her guests. If it’s going to rain you’ll find an umbrella prepared for you. A bunch of books and magazines and even her own well-organized folder will offer you endless information about New York and its city life. Because she’s interested in almost every subject from cooking to art, it’s quite easy to have a conversation with her. We enjoyed the great breakfast with fresh fruits, New York specialties and espresso. Every morning we were curious about what it will be this time. Definitely go there!
A million thanks to Francesca! She is such a lovely, cool and helpful host. We had a great time in New York (Thanks for all the brilliant and cool tips)! The room is very very nice, clean and comfortable (lots of great art and books). The apartement is located perfectly in the East Village to explore the City and the breakfast was great also as well as all the rest!!! Thanks again for everything - we will be back for sure!
La casa è calda e confortevole, la camera spaziosa e la colazione ottima e abbondante!! Laura è una perfetta padrona di casa, organizzata e super-efficiente! Diciamo che meglio di così non ci poteva andare!! Amazing!!
Laura is a gracious host -attentive to detail, friendly, and discrete. The apartment is stuffed with books and works of art and had a very homey feeling which we my friend and I. We stayed for 5 nights and Laura gave us excellent practical advice. The apartment is located close to buses and the subway. The continental Breakfast was nice-we had something different every day,,plus fresh fruit, and good quality coffee. I would definitely go back and have already recommended Laura's place to my friends.
Staying at Francesca's has been a great choice. The location is really good, both for transports and for the borough itself. There are many shops, market and restaurants near by.
The room is really cozy, big and clean. We enjoyed also the living room and the kitchen, since Francesca is very nice with her hosts and provides you with all the tips you need. Spending some time with her adds a value to the vacation experience; staying in a hotel can't give you this.
So I absolutely suggest going to the yellow room! It was my first time with air-bnb, at the beginning I was skeptical but in the end I was really satisfied. I'll definitely choose air-bnb next time!
La casa muy comoda, muy bien ubicada, y francesca nos daba unos desayunos riquisimos con frutas variadas y riquisimo cafe italiano! la pasamos de maravillas!
My husband and I stayed with Laura in her cool East Village apartmetn for 7 nights. It was the perfect place to explore New York, just 2 bloks from the F line subway and 2 blocks to all the coll placs to eat and drink on 2nd Avenue.
Laura is a friendly and gracious host and will make you feel right at home. You can;t beat the beautiful breakfasts in the morning or Laura's yummy Italian coffee :)
This was the best experience one could ever ask for.
She was the most amazing host, I now think of her as my NYC auntie :)
Gave great tips on how to see the city, and has the greatest home ever. She makes you feel welcome and explains everything about the apartment in perfect detail.
I feel blessed to have had this experience.
We just loved our stay at Francesca's.
She has became our aunt from NYC.
Her apartment in the big apple was very nice, comfortable, clean and the walls were plenty of great paintings.
She has been very helpful and careful about us, she made great breakfast, every day with different fruits and bakery products.
Very very nice person, interesting and full of life. She is really cultured and so every topic with her is full of news and really interesting.
Laura was amazing and I really enjoyed her company. She is a professional organizer and had many great tips.
She was quiet and clean and a wonderful guest.
I hope that she can come again soon, because she will be missed.
Walk DC and Baltimore Penn Station
I was happy to help during the evacuations in NYC
Kate and I stayed with Francesca for 15 incredible nights.
A little worried at first as this was the first homestay we had tried, within minutes it felt like "home". Everything we needed to know she could tell us about. The room is an amazing place to stay (I wish I could play the piano!). The breakfast was amazing, the kitchen was my favourite room. Even with a death in the family she was really understanding of the situation and helped us out.
We even had a celebratory glass of wine when we arrived home engaged!
Can't wait to go back and spend more time with her. A gem of a place in a busy city.
Francesca and her wonderful apartment epitomize the international flavor of the hippest neighborhood in the greatest city in the world. You will be surrounded by fine art, treated to a great continental breakfast and oriented to NYC by an experienced guide. The experience is highly recommended.
I had the pleasure of photographing Francesca's apartment. The minute you walk in you will be greeted with the smell of an active kitchen and cozy living room. From the artwork on the walls, to the books on the shelves, you will feel at home regardless of how far you traveled from. You get a private room full of interesting artifacts and photographs. The location is a major plus, right in the heart of New York's East Side neighborhood. Some of her previous guests have called her the 'concierge of NYC' as she shows you how to get around the city and where to get an authentic New York experience. Her level of detail was incredible, including the custom made guidebook in the guest room, to the soap and towels she leaves for you in the bathroom. She takes hosting to the next level with an amazing apartment, and I hope you get to experience this gem when traveling to New York City.
