I'm inclined to think this was Gustavo's first time using AirBnb. We have one of the cheapest rooms in Williamsburg. It's not the Marriott, it's my apartment. For $49/night, you get a private room with a bed, heat, hot water and wifi... in an extremely expensive part of town. To complain about the color of the walls is just outrageous.
That said, I would have gone out of my way to make Gustavo more comfortable if he had complained even once , but he never did. I can't help if I don't know there's a problem.
We did have a bad roommate but she moved out this week. That's no longer a problem. Like many older buildings in Williamsburg, we have thin walls and sound really travels here. That's just the way it is over here.
Hope this helps straighten things out. We have had plenty of very happy guests who know our room is a good value for the neighborhood.
