I'm a musician and writer living with my wife in Brooklyn.
Ben's place is fantastic, one of my favourite neighbourhood in Brooklyn. It has evrything you need for a perfect vacation. And the cats were lovely. I would definitly come back.
Ben's apartment is pretty much exactly as advertised. Comfortable, cozy apartment with a fantastic location for those at least minimally familiar with NYC. Great coffee around the block at the Primrose Cafe, and easy access to mass transit. Would recommend.
Lovely apartment in an extremely convenient area- right next to the subway to Manhattan. Taking care of the cats was easy, and Ben was very responsive to contact.
Ben was very friendly and thoughtful, met with us in person to give us a tour of the place and orient us in the neighborhood. The cats were fun to be around, and the place was very charming.
The area felt very safe and had lots of neat shops and restaurants. From the adjacent subway stop there is no line directly into manhattan, so it takes a bit longer to get into the city.
Overall, we highly recommend it.
Ben was great, really helpful. The location is great, walking distance to bedford st, and the L line to manhattan.
Thanks for all... we had a great time in New York and Williamsbourgh is a cool place to stay. Ben is an easy going guy also very friendly. We saw Ben the night when we checked in with his new roommate Zoe. Apartment is well positioned, 5 min walk to subway and one stop away from Manhattan. We walked the Williamsburg bridge into Manhattan two days, it is so close to the apartment, really handy for getting around. We loved all the cafes, bars and restauraunts in the area. We spend very nice days in Ben's home.
Ben was really nice and made us feel welcome, it is a great location in Brooklyn, but it is right across the street from a really loud club that plays bongo music all night at least on the weekends. Won't be a problem for people who plan on staying out all night, but they don't call it quits until 2:30-ish am.
Thanks for all... we had a great time in New York and Williamsbourgh is a cool place to stay. Especially the flat of Ben and Karl made us feel at home. Ben Karl and Bens girlfriend,Jess were really nice to us and - yes - ben is write, when he sais, that he is very easygoing. The others are as well.
Ben and Karl are living in the direct neighbourhood of Bedfordstreet where a lot of nice bars, (secondhand)shops and restaurant are. I think it is really nice area to hang arround. It reminds me a little bit to Berlin-Kreuzberg. But if you want more, you only have to walk over the bridge and you are already at lower eastside, Manhatten, wich is also a nice district with nice bars...
So, if I would go to New York again soon, I would ask ben and Karl, if I could stay there again.
Rob and I had a fantastic time in New York and Ben and Karl's place was exactly what we had hoped for. We felt relaxed and comfortable as soon as we arrived, Ben and his girlfriend Jessica were friendly and made us feel right at home. We walked the Williamsburg bridge into Manhattan one day, it is so close to the apartment and there subway was a 5/10 minute walk away, really handy for getting around. We loved all the cafes, bars and restauraunts in the area and made the most of all of them! The room was bright and comfortable and warm even with snow outside, perfect for our 4 night stay! Thank you so much Ben and Karl x
My girlfriend and I had a great time with Ben's and his girlfriend. They are a nice couple and we felt like at home. And then Williasmurg is a beautiful neighborhood: I love it!
I just miss them!!! thanks!!!!
