Dear, first of all let me tell you that we are sorry if you had a bad experience with the crew welcoming you. We cannot be in Barcelona personally all year long, in the middle of august we enjoyed some vacation too and we use a concierge company to receive our guests. They ususally do a great job, please see other reviews, but unfortunately they had little troubles the day you arrived as hundred thousands of people hit Barcelona on the same day you arrived! About the neighborhood, let me say that Barcelona it's a very safe city, but infested of pickpockets who rob mostly drunk travelers. There is no reason to have fear about it, just pay attention to your belongings when you walk around. The apartment itself, it's kept in good conditions and it was repainted since the picture was taken. Best light in the apartment is in the noon hours, after, since the streets are narrow, does not receive direct sun. I believe this is a clear information when you book the apartment. Most of the failures reported from some clients either were fixed or they were false reports.
Your ignorance is the only disappointing about this all! You better rent somewhere up in the hills! Where are you from? Alaska??? Have you tried to sleep in Manhattan? Is there no trash in the streets nor roaches? What stupid comments. And if you do not like glass in the bathrooms, why did you book this apartment?? All the details are clearly expressed on the website. Everything is well maintained, we work every day to keep at the highest standards. The price for 8 people is actually an hostal price, you were 6 days in the apartment for 1500€, 8 people, a very convenient rate, with four AC units running 24/7 at american standards.

The water heater is fixed and there are no electrical problems. About parking, the spot is not guaranteed. All rentals in the world require a deposit, it's absolute bullshit that it is against airbnb policies.
Miss, whatever importance you give to the window, it is your responsibility to pay for it. It is not an "act of God" as you tried to fantasticate during our communication: the window was left open by you during a storm and it went broken. We did have to drive 40km to get the glass replaced. It took more than a week.
The cleanings actually cost about 130€ with all the linens and towels washing for 6 people but we only charge a flat fee of 100.
