This apartment is incredible. The roof terrace is huge and the view is wonderful. It's also really peaceful considering how central it is.
Trastevere is a fun neighbourhood to wander around with tons of places to eat and drink an Aperol spritz. There's also a supermarket in Oviesse on Viale Trastevere which was really handy.
Katia was not there but she has prepared great directions to the apartment and a little guide to the area. She always replied to our messages straight away and she is a really nice lady.
Next time we're in Rome we would look no further than Katia's place!
Thank you Fiona, you are awesome!
On August, for the first time, we tried to accept reservations even if we could not be there to welcome our guests (that we usually love to do) and it was a success.
Thanks again for trusting us :)
We stayed here for a weekend in May, 2014. It was definitely the best housing we had in Italy! Katia was a wonderful and helpful host, the apartment was nice, quiet, in one of the most fun neighbourhoods of Rome, and the terrace was FANTASTIC! If I come back to Rome again, this will be the first place I try to book. The restaurants and bars in the area are very nice, and we were able to walk to many of the famous tourist attractions with ease. I cannot overstate how much we loved the terrace, we ate every meal over looking the city. This place was perfect!
The flat was great, with an amazing rooftop terrace. Perfect for two people. And the neighbourhood in Trastevere was wonderful, if you are there on a Sunday be sure to check out the flea market starting from Ippolito Nievo. The bus stop and tram stop are just around the corner, if you choose not to walk.
And our host was nice and very helpful, made us feel very welcome. And she was very accomodating to our schedule, it was no problem for her to collect the key in the early morning hour, when we had to leave for the airport.
All in all, a great place to stay, and I would choose it again for my next Roman holiday.
This is a perfect flat for a couple. My boyfriend and I stayed in Rome for a week and Katia's apartment was a great place to chill out in the evenings. Katia is also a very lovely host and she helped with transport information prior to my arrival and waited for me at the bus stop when I arrived (my boyfriend arrived few hours later that evening). She also explained the area in the surroundings and gave some nice suggestions for restaurants in Pigneto area.
The flat has all the necessities and there was also some food left for us to use, which we appreciated since we arrived on Easter day when all the shops in the area where closed.
The only downside for some might be the distance from the city centre. It's not very far, about 15-20 min on a bus or tram, but public transport often was very packed. Even though Katia suggested the bus, we preferred taking the tram as it seemed a bit faster and wasn't that crowded, although going by tram there's a bit of a walk to the Termini station.
Apart from that I loved everything about our stay in this flat. I specifically liked the artistic feeling in the apartment as it was designed for the owners themselves to live in it. It's a very cozy place and I very much recommend it.
New building, new room..everything is new...that my first impression.
I stayed in Rome for two days with my wife and daughter and have a nice experience with the host. Katia is a nice host and very helpful to give useful information during our stay in Rome.
Bus stop is around the corner of the street and only about 15 minutes to Termini station.
Thank you Katia.
We enjoyed a lot our stay in Rome. Katia and her boyfriend were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The flat is very nice and in a new building. The area feel a bit like a village, with houses with lemon trees. We enjoyed having breakfast on the terrace and going out for dinner and drinks in via Pigneto.
A cool area and not touristy.
Very nice guests, can only recommend
Thanks Anton! I just leaved a review :)
