Disappointed but we will not leave negative commentary and prefer to respond like a hotel setting 'stating facts' and trusting that airbnb guests will apply their own judgement when booking our wonderful property. FACTS: 1)Members wife(very nice lady) made the reservation using her husbands airbnb account and remained the only point of contact. After booking, she had the option to rent the entire property but indicated that she 'was happy' to keep the reservation as it stood. Unfortunately, it is not possible to rent an entire ocean front malibu home at a lower price. We are sorry that the guests feel disappointed but we understand they are new to airbnb. 2)Bath towels are 'brand new', not dirty. They hung the wet towel on the decorative wood ladder and the wood stained the towel. Had guest mentioned the towel to my housekeeper who worked for them 'free of charge' she would gladly have replaced the towel with more than 20 new towels in our inventory. 3)Dining outside is not only possible but a surprise offering not advertised on airbnb. These guests were the first to experience our newly built outside dining table. Upon arrival, we offered them to use 4 spare 'designer' chairs valued at over $2000 so they could enjoy eating outside and asked if they could just return the chairs inside over night due to the mist and salt air that would damage those chairs. In addition, as seen in the airbnb pictures, there are 2 beautiful teak lounge chaises and 2 designer white lounge chairs on the deck on a permanent basis. We are sorry our guests fell ill during their stay and perhaps regret the cost they incurred. Our note to the guests wishing them a quick recovery was sincere, as was our offer to take great care of them the next time they visit. We wish our guests well in all their future travels.
