The place was clean and comfortable. It was also a short distance to town!
Flat was compact, but totally fine for 2 people - we stayed for 3 nights.
Had everything really you would need (apart from wifi).
As per some of previous reviews there were lots of belongings/things around, but didn't find this a problem as it was a short stay for us.
Had a slight issue getting gate code but was able to contact Elese and she was really helpful and prompt in replying, would recommend making sure you have the gate code before arrival.
Elese had lots of recommendations for the local area etc.
We wouldn't have a problem with staying here again in the future.
It is exactly as described, a hip studio. It is small, good for only 1 or 2 people. It is a little crammed with the hosts items and not a lot of space to put your own items anywhere, I left my clothes in the suitcase on the floor. It would be good to have a little more space cleared on the craft table. I was very appreciative to have a full kitchen, others in this price point did not offer that. It was a little ways away from the better part of South Congress Street but we didn't mind walking as the weather was nice and the bus was close enough or you could use Uber. Overall, I thought it was a good, inexpensive option.
My wife and I had a good stay at Elese's studio apartment. Elese's instructions, directions, and recommendations were all easy to follow and helpful. The apartment was clean and full of character. I would say that it might perhaps be a tad too small for a couple, but it is certainly ideal for a single person. Location is also a big plus. We were able to walk to the fun SoCon area for food, drinks, and entertainment; and yet the apartment itself is nicely tucked away in a quiet, friendly neighborhood. Overall, a good experience.
Elese's flat was the perfect retreat for a short weekend in Austin. The free-spirited decor and open layout were both enjoyable and relaxing. Amazing rain shower head.
Elese's apartment was just as described: small cozy and close to everything. Also, Elese made the check-in and out effortless. I would definitely stay there again!
great location, cute apartment. elese is a super sweet host!
We had such an amazing time at the Casa. Centrally located so we didn't drive more than 10-15 minutes to get anywhere. Our host was accommodating and greeted us as soon as we arrived. Very few AirBnB hosts in my experience have done this. The space was more than enough for our tinkering around town and planning on coming back again.
The building has easy available parking, the apartment is small but exactly what we were looking for. We had an awesome time.
We enjoyed the apartment a lot. It is small, but very cute and comfortable. It is very well located, right off 1st street, and 10 minutes from downtown Austin. It was clean, and it provided everything we needed! Would do it again if I'm back in Austin!
Elese and her bestie were ideal guests....independent, positive and respectful. We hope to see them back through soon!
If I had to invent the perfect guests for The Hive vintage Shasta it might be Elese and Katy! They were so into the experience. Despite car trouble, they were amazingly positive and inspiring. Please, please come back some day!
Elese was a great guest. Very easy going and chill, and left the apartment in great condition! We would have her back any time.
Elese is incredibly responsive and helpful! If you ever need advice on Austin she is the perfect resource! Her apartment is in a great location as well! I would recommend her a a host any day!
