Pacia was a great hostess!
She really made my stay at her cosy home a visit at an old friend's house. It was right before the scottish referendum and I was lucky to get to know from her so much on the behind the scenes and the society's momentum.
She has been a friendly, jozful, sophisticated, discreet and a very helpful host and made me double enjoy the stay :)
Pacia was a great host! We felt instantly at home and had a lovely time in Edinburgh. The room was nice, we especially liked all the pictures on the wall, and the flat has a good location. Pacia is very friendly and open-minded and we were really glad we chose her as a host.
Staying with Pacia was lovely. She made me feel very welcome and felt like i was staying with a friend! The room was great and a good location with a short walk to town. Was lovely to chat over a cup of tea. Thanks Pacia for a wonderful stay!
Our stay at Pacia's was an awsome experience: the house and the room are beautifully decorated, comfortable and a short walk from the city centre; but what matters the most is that Pacia is an amazing person, and I feel honestly lucky to have met her. Surely highly recommend, and hope to be back myself for next Fringe season.
We had a great time staying with Pacia. She is a lovely lady, very chatty, friendly and laid back. She gave us some great tips about Edinburgh. Her home is lovely and full of interesting art work and collectables. It's 20-30min walk into town, depending which part you're going to. Taxis cost around £7. Pacia was very generous and left cereals, milk and cheese for breakfast.
A few things you should know about staying at Pacia's -
The nearest parking is a mile away (about 20min walk). You can park outside flat to unload but can't leave your car there overnight. The area we left our car for 3 days seemed fine though and was free!
The bed is small. It is a double bed but there was not room to leave a gap between my husband and I at all!
There is a very cute cat called Rufus who is playful and does like to jump on kitchen sides and your bed!
If you stay at Pacia's you will have a great time and feel very welcome and at home!
Pacia is the sweetest hostess you can find. She makes you feel immediately at home. Her apartment is cosy and nicely decorated, and the room is lovely. It is close (walking distance) to the downtown area, so perfectly situated for anyone who wants to visit the city. Our stay at Pacia's was one of our best airbnb experience. HIGHLY recommended!
We really enjoyed staying in Pacia's flat. She was very welcoming, friendly and helpful about edinburgh and the festival. It was a 15-20 minute walk into town and a 10 minute walk to the airport bus stop, so very convenient. Would definitely recommend this!
Pacia was a very friendly and helpful host. She was always there if we needed any help, but also gave us plenty of space and we could fell very comfortable.
Très bon accueil de Pacia, très bel appartement bien situé à environ 20 min à pied du centre et délicieux muffins à la myrtilles. Merci.
Cosy room and very central.
If you are lucky enough to find yourself a room with Pacia, count your blessings!
Its a beautiful flat, a boutique of loveliness full up with the creative inspiration of this amazing woman. A haven from the craziness that is Edinburgh centre.
Its a stones'throw from the Lothian Road, with buses direct from the airport ,( the 35) and from around the corner, to the Bedlam Theatre ( one of my favourites during the festival) and the National Museum of Scotland,( the 27)! I met Pacia last year when I was looking for a room a couple of nights a week and knew straight away she was who I wanted to stay with and over a year later I've never regretted a moment. Sadly I'm nolonger working in Edinburgh, else I'd be fighting to keep MY room!
I have known Pacia for many years, first as a colleague on a health education project and soon after as a good (great!) friend. She has a tremendous sense of style which is obvious from the photos of her flat and I've always felt a sense of sanctuary being in her beautiful, home. The room she has prepared is so lovely and I'm sure that she will provide guests with a comfortable and memorable airbnb stay.
