I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Joseph's apartment. It is exactly as described. It was clean and warm despite the cold weather outside. It was quiet and I wasn't disturbed by the other guests in the building.
It has everything you need: washer and dryer downstairs, TV, WiFi internet, private bathroom and kitchen.
It is fairly small but for one person I found it to be perfect. The proximity to the subway and shops on Danforth avenue was also great.
I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone i
Greeat place !! very clean !! very good internet connection !! It was very very nice !!!
Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cet appartement.
Nous avons été très bien accueillis.
L'appartement est propre
Il y a tout le nécessaire pour cuisiner.
De plus, un lave-linge et un sèche-linge sont à notre disposition.
Price is fair for apartment. Very convenient apartment
This is a lovely and comfortable little place. I very much enjoyed staying there and would love to stay there again. I say this even though part of my visit was during the ice storm and we lost power through no fault of the host. The location is great. I loved being so close to the subway. The apartment is cozy, stylish and well thought out. Vicky was great about staying in touch and showed up when I first arrived to ensure that I knew where everything was and got properly settled in. I visited by myself, but this place would be quite good for a couple as well.
We had a great stay at his house and the room was very comfy and big. It is close to downtown and a Tim Hortons and a drugstore are just at the end of the street.
What was very special to us and we really liked it was the coffee machine and a small fridge in our room. It's just perfect, you can get up in the morning and get your coffe 30sec later.
We strongly recommend Josephs Home for a stay in Toronto!
I stayed at Joseph's Razz apartment for eight nights when I was in Toronto for a minor surgery. The apartment was beautifully decorated, modern and clean. I had a perfect little nest in which to recuperate. Vicky even drove me home from the hospital and delivered flowers from my children. There were lots of shops and restaurants within a few minutes walk, and the subway station was just down the road. If I ever come back to Toronto, I know where I'd like to stay!
Great location; a warm and cosy flat; and even room to entertain a few guests. The set-up is really friendly, and if you can't afford the flat definitely consider staying in one of the rooms upstairs.
You are only a short walk from Parliament, as well as the City Farm and good walks and cycling along the river... the beach is only 20 minutes away by bicycle, as is the CN Tower.
We had a great time in Joseph's loft! We arrived late at night and Vicky waited for us and gave us all the instructions that we needed. She was very pleasant and she made sure we were okay. I highly recommend Joseph's place. The location is great and it allowed us to discover other sites of the beautiful Toronto. Thanks Vicky for everything.
My boyfriend & I stayed at the Downtown Tourist house for just over a month and had a perfect stay.
The rooms have everything you need, a TV, WiFi access & private bathroom. And the shared spaces such as kitchen & dining room are also well equipped & clean.
Mateo & Catherine live at the house & are on hand for any questions or issues. And there is a phone at the door to contact Joe or Vicky, both of whom were great to deal with during our stay. The phone can also be used to call taxi's for free which was handy.
The house is in a great (email hidden)autiful part of town, quiet tree lined street which is beautiful right now with all the autumn colours. Parliament street is less than a 5 minute walk, and on the corner there is a Tim Hortons (if that's your thing) and a convenience & drug store. My recommendation for your morning coffee is Jet Fuel...the staff are a bit 'too cool for school' sometimes, but the coffee is amazing. There's also a park about 30 seconds walk from the house that hosts a farmers market on Tuesday nights & is home to Riverdale farm (free to visit), which is a nice walk to see the cows & pigs :)
It's a short, safe, 15 minute walk downtown to College & Yonge, or if you are feeling lazy/have further to go, the tram is also just around the corner on Parliament as well.
Overall, had a fabulous time...so much so, that we stayed on longer at another one of Joe's property's...again, both Joe & Vicky have been great in facilitating this and their Soho & Woodbine apartment (that we are in now) is also amazing.
Highly Recommend - Great Value & Experience!
Conveniently located to the subway, clean, spacious (except for bathroom, though the shower is amazing), excellent laundry facilities and helpful host in Vicky.
