We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay here. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. A lovely little beach shack within easy reach to all Point Lonsdale and it's surrounds have to offer. Robert was a great host and responded quickly to any queries. Thanks for having us. Lyndall
the apartment is amazing and location is perfect. Thanks u, Neil and Robert.
A beautiful and very relaxing place to spend the weekend. The sliding door between the main room and the bedroom was amazingly effective at blocking the Saturday night street noise - and we slept brilliantly well. Thank you so much!
Staying in this apartment was like stepping back in time and Neil made us very welcome. His local and historical knowledge made an interesting start to our stay. The apartment was easy to find and Neil was awaiting our arrival.
The view was excellent and location was brilliant, short walk to shopping and concert hall which suited our purpose very well. Also enjoyed lovely French cuisine at a bistro only 2 minutes walk away.
It was unfortunate that our stay coincided with the demolition of a nearby building and road works which continued all night however, the bedroom was reasonably well insulated so sleeping wasn't an issue.
The late checkout at no extra cost was a great thing...left our luggage and picked up on our way back to the airport...very convenient, thank you :)
I was warmly welcomed to the apartment by the owner, Neil, who was a lovely gentleman & I enjoyed our brief chat. The apartment is eclectic with a range of interesting artwork, furniture and rugs. I enjoyed discovering and reading the handwritten notes about the pieces and their history. I felt it was very much a privilege to stay in the apartment. The location is fantastic, with easy access to the Convention & Exhibition Centre, where I was attending a seminar, and CBD for shopping. It was great to relax in one of the comfortable leather chairs, glass of wine in hand and look at the city lights after a hard day at work. I will definitely consider staying here again should I be travelling to Melbourne. The booking via Robert (Neil's son) was quick & efficient with easy communication. Thanks to you both for allowing me to stay at the apartment.
10 out of 10, great host, location and accommodation.
What a find! In the lead up to our stay all of our queries were answered quickly and fully. The house is in a quiet part of Point Lonsdale on a no through road. It is decorated beautifully in a beach retro feel that is stylish yet the house still remains cosy and comfortable. The house is spacious and easily accommodated our family of two adults and three small boys. We stayed in winter and the heating in the loungeroom worked very well. The bedrooms are at the other end of the house and were on the chilly side, but there were plenty of extra blankets to make the beds warm enough. My kids enjoyed the games, puzzles and DVDs in the house and we enjoyed browsing through the books. The bathroom is older but the shower had great water pressure and was never cold. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this house to others.
Terrific in every way.
The apartment was so cosy and interesting, my cousin & I felt right at home. Close to Southern cross station and Flinders, had brekky at the cafe across from the apartment which i can recommend. Neil was so welcoming, and helpful.. we would definitely stay again. Thankyou
What a beautiful place to stay! The city view outside the window was stunning, from sunset to sunrise. Neil was most welcoming and charming. Would definitely recommend staying here.
