Ms. Risatti seems to take her role as AirBnB host very seriously, and her property's long list of positive reviews persuaded us to rent the apartment at issue. I cannot explain why our experience was so drastically different that that of so many others, but it was. I stand by my critique without hesitation. Ms. Risatti was swift in apologizing for the state of the apartment and offered an even larger refund than we originally requested -- in this she was more than fair. However, in commenting on the physical state of the apartment and the extreme delay and difficulty of check-in, a rebate does not, in my opinion, alter my duty to give an accurate assessment of the experience. I apologize for the mix-up concerning an out-of-date Argentine phone number on my profile. In sum, unsatisfactory service offered, fair rebate given, accurate review provided -- end of story. I wish Romina and her sister well.
