Dragica and her husband gave us an incredibly warm welcome! They helped us navigate the city and really made sure we were taken care of and comfortable. The apartment is centrally located, has a beautiful ocean view, and we only wished we could have stayed longer. Definitely recommend.
This house is very good place in dubrovnik!
1) House location is good. I have a heavy baggage, but house is located near the bus stop. and from house to old city is 10 min by walking!
2) The room is clean and comfortable and warm. View is good, too! I drunk a beer with my friend in room terrace and sawing the night sky.
3) Her husband is very kind!! sensitive and honest. I feeling him Thank you very much, When I check-out, I put on my money bag below pillow and forgot it. but he send me a message about it, and bring it!! so I have a good memory about Croatia, and love there,.
My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at Mata 2. Slobodan met us, let us into the apartment, and showed us how everything worked. He then walked with me to the stairs leading to the old city. The old city is about 2 blocks away with approximately 200 stairs, or 4 blocks away via a sloping sidewalk. We opted to take the #3 bus back up to the house. It takes you from the old city, on a tour through Gruz (which has a beautiful marina and the Taverna Otto (our favorite restaurant and very reasonable), and drops you 1/2 block, down hill, from the apartment. All for under S2 U.S. We had some really nice conversation with Slobodan and Dragica and wish we had more time to visit with them. They were so nice and friendly. They really made us feel right at home. The apartment was very clean and spacious. The water pressure was great and plenty of hot water.
If you are driving from the airport you will see a sign welcoming you to Dubrovnik. Very shortly after that there are two signs saying Dubrovnik straight ahead or to the right. Take the ramp to the right. You will pass under an over pass. Slow down, the alley is on your right 3/4 of a block down. There is a metal barrier and a crosswalk just past the alley. Be careful pulling into the alley it is on an incline and though it is only wide enough for one car it is a two way street. It doesn't take long to get used to it. The apartment is on the left about 75 - 100 yards down. Parking is on the right side when you are pulling into the alley.
We would highly recommend staying with Slobodan and Dragica. Fantastic hosts. Thank you.
Dragica és a férje nagyon kedvesen fogadott minket, még aznap éjjel megmutatták merre találjuk a történelmi belvárost. A kijelentkezésnél is rugalmasak voltak, nagyon jól éreztük magunkat. A teraszról káprázatos a kilátás! Áprilisban reggel egy kicsit hűvös volt az apartman.
Lovey flat, just a few minutes away from the Old Town. It is simply furnished but has everything you will need to make a quick supper. These hosts are very welcoming and even greeted us with biscuits and orange juice upon our arrival. They are good, kind people who will make you feel at home.
It was perfect stay. It was very clean and comfortable house to us. host is very kindly, so I had a great time.
I would like to recommend to anyone strongly.
Great hosts. Would stay again. If coming by car the alley where the apartment is right before the pedestrian walk way. Drive slow. Thanks for for being so friendly.
This was an extra night we stayed at Dragica's after our flight ended up getting cancelled. We were happy the flat was still available and had a wonderful time just like the other nights. It's the perfect place to stay in Dubrovnik.
Dragica and Slobodan were very kind and welcoming hosts that we would recommend to anyone. Before we arrived, we found out that our departing flight had been cancelled and moved to the next day, so we were able to arrange to stay an extra day. They also graciously let us check in very early (8 a.m.) even though check in is not usually until much later. The flat itself was very comfortable, and we had a good night's sleep every night. Dragica and Slobodan even gave us some Easter treats on the way out -- a wonderful stay in a wonderful city.
Slobodan and Dragica were wonderful hosts. They took us in on short notice, gave us some advice on where to visit during our stay and the amenities were great for three people to include wifi and a washer. It was a 7 minute walk to old town, so the location was great.
