My boyfriend Matt and I just returned back to the US after a whirlwind year of traveling around the world. We have recently moved from my hometown of San Francisco, to San Diego. Matt loved his college years at UCSD and has wanted to return to sunny San Diego ever since I've known him... so here we are!

Our travels around the world were mind bendingly amazing, and they have given us a fresh perspective on life. Venturing out of our comfort zone and actually fulfilling this crazy dream, was a remarkable experience for both of us. Now its time to apply what we've learned over the past year, to everyday situations in California. We are super excited for the next chapter in our lives.

Upon my return, I was fortunate enough to get re-hired by my company. They have created a sales position for me in San Diego, so I feel blessed by this good fortune. All we need now is a place to call home temporarily while we figure out which neighborhood we want to settle into permanently in San Diego. We are looking for a clean, suitable place to hang our hat for a couple of months this summer. Preferably something near the beach!

We are an outgoing, but low key couple who (obviously) love to travel and explore all corners of the globe. We're clean and respectful individuals who love the outdoors, beach combing, hiking, running, etc.

Matt and I found out about AirBNB week 1 of our year-long trip. We should be the international ambassadors for the company, as we have used it throughout all of Europe, Africa and now Southeast Asia, with great ease and satisfaction. Matt and I tell everyone we meet along the way about this site, and we don't even know anyone who works at AirBNB even though its head-quartered in our home town of SF. Funny!
