We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely well designed apartment in the university district of St. Louis. The apartment was clean, well kept and spacious. The bedroom has a very comfortable bed and also a sofa. There is a lovely sunroom at the other end of the apartment with a very nice view. We were down the street from Kaldi's, an absolutely great coffee shop and restaurant. We absolutely recommend this airbnb and will stay here again (I hope) in this coming May!
Had a great time at Sarah's place, it's beautiful and in the perfect location for me as I had things to do all over the area, but especially loved being able to walk across the way to forest park for a quick escape. She has everything you could need to feel at home, the sunroom is a lovely touch, and her bed is super comfy. I felt safe, Sarah responded really fast always, and it was really easy to park and check in and out. Definitely recommend!
We felt so lucky to discover this gem -- in a city that has very few decent Airbnb listings, esp. in cool neighborhoods. It's everything others have said -- spacious, light, beautifully and comfortably appointed, w/every amenity you could need. I'm especially grateful for being able to cook large quantities of food for T-giving. We also discovered two great nearby cafes, and walked to Wash U and the museum. We would have explored more had it not been for family obligations.
Beyond the apt. comfort, SW was super easy to work with -- kind, welcoming, responsive, and generous. I think she added heating pads to the bed before our arrival out of concern that it would be too cold. I also want to acknowledge that the apt. served as a refuge for us during a typically stressful and challenging holiday. That means more than anything to me.
The accommodation is lovely and in a great neighborhood, near a local coffee
& breakfast place as well as a wine bar. It is a quite neighborhood and located not
far from Wash U.
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay in Clayton at Sarah's light and airy apartment. It was very clean and comfortable and we felt welcomed in every way. She provided restaurant/coffee house/Forest Park tips that we took advantage of-especially Kaldi coffeehouse. The neighborhood was welcoming and beautiful as well (especially the foliage on the oak and maple trees along DeMun street).
We loved staying here! The neighborhood was perfect and so close to Forest Park. And the apartment was wonderful and so spacious and light and clean! We would definitely stay here again and hope to in the future.
The unit was really nice and clean! Just like in the pictures and very relaxing and comfortable! Loved it! The neighborhood is in a nice area of STL. I love the Forest Park/Clayton area. There were alot of bars, restaurants, parks, and things to do in the area. Since there was an event going on the parking was an issue, but she was very willing to come and help! The bed is also VERY comfortable and gives you a great nights sleep! I would stay here again in a second! I hope to again in the near future if it's available!
We had a fantastic stay at SW's place in St. Louis. The apartment was beautiful - spacious, clean, lots of natural light- and the location was very convenient. Short walk from Forest park, restaurants, and a really great coffee shop. We brought our dog with us, and many of the patios at nearby restaurants were dog-friendly.
SW was out of town during our visit, but made arrangements for convenient (and flexible) check-in and check-out and responded very quickly to a few questions that came up.
Our stay at Sarah’s place was perfect. The apartment was even better than the photos. Clean, stylish and tasteful. Our hostess was extremely accommodating and friendly. She left us with lots of tips on things to do and see in St. Louis as well as places to eat. The area where the apartment is located in a safe neighborhood and was very nice with tons of trees.
The apartment was VERY close to Forrest Park which houses tons of activities (i.e, museums, theater, zoo, recreation and more). It was great being able to walk and enjoy our surroundings. If you’re up to it the popular “Loop” can be reached by foot.
The main streets and one of the highways is very close to the apartment and easy to get on to get to downtown and other parts of the city. Also, the bed was SUPER comfy, and so is the couch. The kitchen has the basics and is easy to move around if that’s your thing.
All in all it was a great stay. We highly recommend this apartment when in St. Louis. If we go back again we will definitely look up this place. Thanks for an awesome stay!!
Note: The apartment is on the 3rd floor. No problem for us but just FYI.
Sarah was the PERFECT guest! They were quiet, clean, polite, respectful........She didn't even drink coffee in the mornings. She stripped her bed and left the room as clean as she found it. I would absolutely love to have Sarah as a guest again.
Sarah was a perfect guest and a lovely preson. She is an AirBnB host herself, and is quiet, considerate, polite, and friendly. The pre-booking communication was quick and efficient, and the whole process was a breeze. She spent most of her time here studying, and we hardly knew she was even here. She left the place as clean as when she checked in – like I say, we hardly knew she was here! I would highly recommend Sarah as a guest or a host. Thanks Sarah!
Sarah was a great guest. She was polite and respectful of our space. I would recommend her to any host.
Wonderful guest per usual. Always happy to have her in our home.
A easy-breezy, no fuss guest who left my home neat and was quiet as a mouse!
This was Sarah's second visit with us, and as usual she was a delightful guest. We hope she comes for a visit sometime soon.
Sarah was an amazing guest. She was kind, quiet as a mouse and extremely respectful of our space. Our door is always open for Sarah.
I have known Sarah since 2000, when I met her at boarding school in Europe. We were friends back then and have gotten back in touch and have been best friends in NYC for the past five years. During college she worked at a fancy hotel in Manhattan and knows the tricks of being a great host--she dreams one day of owning a B&B in the Adirondacks. My relatives have stayed with her four or so times when they're in town and each time the apartment is spic and span--clean sheets, windows and the odd surprise-and-delight like cookies or hand-written ideas for fun things to do over the weekend. Sometimes I roll my eyes when she goes to all this work but she loves doing it and everyone winds up delighted.
