Priscilla grew up here on a homestead and acreage that has been in the family since before the farmhouse was built in 1821. Stefania creates art in her garage studio, roasts marshmallows off the porch, is learning her weeds from her annuals and perennials, and works as a teacher. Our historian and property owner Priscilla can be found going to the opera and theatre, volunteering, antiquing, taking care of the buildings and gardens, quilting on the porch, and collecting eggs from the chicken house. Priscilla is a great resource if you are looking for local history or places to visit during your stay.
There have always been working animals on the property, now we are down to a chattering brood of free range hens, a 3 pack of dogs, and one mouser. The barn is a newer addition, built where one of the original outbuildings once was. We are deeply rooted in our family history and culture, and are happy to share a bit of it with you. Having been fortunate to travel through through many foreign countries including Holland, Sweden, Andorra, Switzerland, Wales and India, our most memorable stays have been with families who live the life we want to visit. Whether from over seas or state lines, we hope you enjoy your visit to the Seacoast!
