Curiosity and enthusiasm are my main driving forces in life. Traveling is an awesome way to develop my independence and life skills as well as to satisfy the hunger to experience, learn, and delight in new things. I'm a web analyst by trade and a web programmer (code monkey ;) in my previous life. I play with data, patterns, behavioral science, design and try to create a better online experience. I love reading, movies (have thousands in my collection and I say an enthusiastic yes to subtitles :), art, food, music. (email hidden) geek and loves older classic manga. Most interesting things attract me, and I don't mind being spontaneous, trains of consciousness, and quirky. Science is my passion. Sometimes it's cast in a cold/sterile light but I see science as the ultimate romance - the quest to learn and to better ourselves and for the amazing potentials our future holds. Travel wise, I prefer to experience the more authentic side (email hidden) instead of the touristy side and I would rather take my time experiencing one thing than going to places just to have gone to places. I tend to do a ton of research and planning ahead of a trip just so I'll have the confidence to be spontaneous while on the trip. I love the opportunity to learn from my host, their stories, what their life is like, and what they love about their city, etc. and I'd love to tell you mine. :) Oh, and I'm a pretty responsible, respectful and easy going person so that should not be a problem. Cheers!
