Our family of five stayed here for five days in July. My kids loved the bunk beds and Legos, we loved the beautiful uncluttered space and the prime location, easy walking distance to the beach and several great, family-friendly restaurants. Our hosts were helpful and gracious and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend!
We felt at home in Vancouver right from the start! The home is lovely and situated in the perfect location. The views from the house were stunning and we loved staying so close to the beach. Everything we needed was minutes away and very convenient. It was the perfect setting for traveling with a family. We especially appreciated the hospitality from our hosts.
Great house, great location near the waterfront. Perfect for our family. Highly recommended.
Your wonderful home exceeded our expectations-thank you for sharing it with us!!! We especially loved the location, ideal for the bus into Downtown, the views and all the extra touches-we will definitely recommend to all our friends x
We loved out stay. The house was immaculate and was more spacious than the photos portrayed. Beautiful area of Kitslano with Kits Beach a short walk away.
Nicole made sure everything we needed was provided and went over and above our expectations.
Beds were very comfortable and had a Kitchen a chef would love.

We would stay here again without question.
This house was absolutely wonderful. Most importantly it was as advertized, we were not disappointed. It was convenient to Granville Island, the beach and shopping. It was located in the Kitsilano area, only a short distance across the Burrard Bridge was downtown, Stanley Park and North Vancouver via the Lions Gate Bridge.
The house was beautiful and tastefully decorated. It was clean and neat. Although it was a cottage, there was room to gather in the recently remodeled kitchen during meal preparation and room for the family to separate when we needed privacy. The view from the second floor front living room was spectacular and afforded great views of the fire works celebrating BC Day. The third floor deck off the third floor bedroom was very nice and relaxing. It was great place to sit with drink and enjoy a conversation while watching a beautiful sunset. We had a great time visiting Vancouver and a big part of this was that we had great place “to come home to”.
We felt at home and comfortable the whole time. There are some places where furnishings and decorations which for any number of reasons leave you feeling confined, cluttered and uncomfortable, never permitting you to settle in. This was NOT one of those places.
The host was cordial and accommodating and addressed any concerns we had. There is basement apartment, occupied by a long term tenant. This person was never a bother and was quite helpful in assisting us when we needed special information about the house, how to handle the garbage and recycling for example.
The only issue we had, and it was not a serious problem, was parking. There was no parking immediately accessible to the house. Parking was available on a side street behind the house. Except on the two evenings when the fireworks were scheduled, we never had any trouble finding parking. We could park and walk a few short steps to the front door. We were able to pull up and park briefly in front of the house to load and unload luggage. So it was really not a problem.
An all around very pleasant and positive experience
The 2010 Olympics were in full swing in Vancouver when we spent 5 nights at this lovely, renovated heritage home. Our hosts were champions ... like the Olympians they went beyond expectation to provide the best environment and hospitality. Truly a gold medal stay! The beautifully decorated home was extremely neat, clean and organized, stocked with all the basics like oils and milk, environmentally friendly toiletries / supplies and a big screen TV to watch the Games! They have a friendly, older cat who didn't want to leave and when they discovered I was taking allergy medicine to accommodate that, they promptly took him to a friend's home. Very significantly for us, they were available at all times on their cell phones to answer our questions about the house and where to eat in Vancouver and met us upon our arrival at the house. The home is centrally located in Kitsilano within easy driving access of downtown and Granville Island. There were many considerate touches like three sets of house keys on Olympic mascot key chains, new towels, fresh sheets, high tech washer and dryer and cleared out closets so we could hang our clothes. It is a picture perfect place to stay that comes with uncommon graciousness that you would expect at a five star hotel like the St. Regis. That surprised and delighted my husband and I and our grown sons who were there with us. We would definitely return.
